Re: General discussion chat Saying that to another American? Good job you have lifted my expectations for you.
Re: General discussion chat We all know a significant amount of american made things are shit, we just dont want to admit it
Re: General discussion chat Dodge ram or charger arn't very shit, Owned a Ram on the farm. We beat that sucker Azande it never managed to disappoint us. Nice beefy cummins.
Re: General discussion chat Not everything is shit here, dodge is an exception for the shit rule(usually)
Re: General discussion chat I'm sorry but pretty much everything Chrysler made is some of the shittiest stuff out there. :\ Dodge has good engines, but terrible trucks to put them into. I'm sure there have been a few good ones made here and there, but for the most part, Chrysler pumps out utter shit. Chargers are cool enough to ignore all of that, though.
Re: General discussion chat And GM or ford is any better? Think about it. I don't Recall GM being any better<--- See what I did there...
Re: General discussion chat Soooo dramatic. NO! Hate the modders if you must hate someone, not the guys who use the mods. My point is, dont hate on someone just because they use Russian mods... I dont use them, dont like most of them (bad quality), but support and appreciate all modders who put effort into their mods. Community-Screenshots
Re: General discussion chat Ehhh I consider chrysler the worst, honestly. GM can make almost half decent cars when they get it right. They seem to overlook large problems in testing and have trouble putting stuff together correctly, but if they put all the shit together right and iron out most of the flaws in testing, they can make almost half decent cars. Chrysler puts stuff together right and doesn't have as many terminal problems with their cars within the first year(s), but they're just all around pieces of shit. Worst build quality of the big 3 imo.
Re: General discussion chat I'd have to agree. My mom's 2008 Chrysler Town and Country is a piece of absolute crap. Constantly having problems and is all around horrible quality. My dad's 2000 Chevy Silverado is a frickin' tank. Aside from the rocker panels rusting out like crazy, it's perfect. Even after 250k miles.
Re: General discussion chat I drove a pretty much brand new Town and Country a few months ago. Had like 8k miles on it and the steering wheel was already misaligned. I gotta give it credit, though, it was a rental car. Someone probably hit something and knocked it out of alignment. It was a huge piece of shit though. Sluggish v6, tranny always hunting for gears and took forever to make up its mind. Horrible brake and steering feel. It was kinda fun to mess around with. I swear, slamming on the brakes throw the body of the thing around more than it actually stops the car. I made my dad get in the back and spent the whole time throwing him around because it had so much body roll. Also can't see jack shit out of the back. I don't like cars I can't see out of. :|
Re: General discussion chat Yeah the Town and Countries have horrible brakes. I don't notice the body roll because I drive the truck which naturally has a ton of body roll. The best thing about the truck though is the visibility. I basically have 360 degrees of perfect, unobstructed vision while driving. It's so nice.
Re: General discussion chat only thing i'll add to the whole chrysler being crap thing is while i agree, don't forget that WhiteKnight lives in australia so chrysler might actually make decent cars there, while they make shitty ones here in america
Re: General discussion chat It's different body roll though. Only really noticeable when you slam on the brakes. The back of the car flies way up in the air. Pretty entertaining, honestly.
Re: General discussion chat I wouldn't be able to tell because when I try to slam on the brakes in the town and country, they grind and sound like jackhammer going off then proceed in failing to slow the car down.
Re: General discussion chat Why would you want a mini van? They are horribly under powered and are rather uncomfortable (at least the Town and Country and Grand Caravan are. My grandparents Toyota Sienna is actually pretty comfortable).
Re: General discussion chat My mom had an 05 Town and Country. Sitting in the back was always nice and bouncy.
Re: General discussion chat Maybe its since she got the Road and Track Version, thing seems to be a lot better than all the other models. Has kickass speakers and is tweaked for performance. Thing's a rocketship, none of that body-roll crap. Stiffened springs etc.
