Quick question that might've been answered already but fuck reading through that many pages: Is the original mod required for the hotfix, or should I just install the hotfix only? I've never had much luck trying to get this car to behave in-game but this hotfix looks promising.

Is there a way to turn the speed chime off when you're not going the speed chime speed.

 

Download the version on page 160 and please read the latest posts on the thread before posting on it because someone probably has the same issue you do. (Especially if there are over 170 of them.)

I have a question about the mod.
I downloaded the hotfix and made sure it was all in the right place, but whenever I try and load the mod in the game then my car doesnt change, some engine components glitch outside the car and I just get launched into the air and continue accelerating in one direction.
any way I can fix this or?

 

Try clearing your cache, usually that helps when installing a new car.

after I cleared the cache the mod disappeared along with any other mod that requires me to drag and drop files

 

no no! some of them fully delete some things in the userfolder (including mods)

Guys I'm having some issues some parts of the car are orange, like windscreen wipers... maybe missing texture? I deleted first version and downloaded version on page 160... should i have kept first version and added hotfix? thanks

 

Remove first version, only keep hotfix
If there are still no textures then clear cache

This is by far the best mod I've ever used on Beamng. If anything, I reckon it'd be awesome to have working windshield wipers. Yes, I know this recommendation is somewhat pointless, but drifting in the rain is cool.

 

How do I disable the chime? It goes off 24/7, even when not moving.
