I just want to say that I really really love how futuristic the Capsule is..

For a more dated look, we already have the Wentward ingame and the Japanese Aero Bus as a mod.

Takes up a lot of ram tho. Even running 100 dummies on a good computer causes noticeable frame drop. So having 160 dummies in just one vehicle would probably do a number on the average person's PC. You can add more dummies using the dummy mod by agent_y, though. But you have to set them all up yourself.

 

But how about some of BeamNG-FUN's videos? He had like 100+ dummies inside this bus and he had little to no frame drops at all.

 

Yea that's different that's a guy running SLI on two RTX 4080s with an i9 12900k that's definitely different. Average person is running mid range specs, not top of the line stuff. Personally I can spawn in like 200 dummies before I start getting issues. And that's with them all standing still. That BeamNG Fun guy must have a very good computer.

 

The options of spawning fewer dummies are already offered btw.

My wishlist (consolidated all my previous wishes into this one large wishlist):

• 25.25m 4-axle biarticulated variants
  
• 34m 6-axle biarticulated variants
  
• 22m double-ended single articulated variant (2 axles in each part, think of both as front modules, such a bus could best be achieved with hub motors but front-engined ICE propulsion is not impossible either)
  
• 18.75m 3-axle single articulated variant with slightly longer rear overhang
• Variants with central driving position, like in Tesla Semi
• Alternative electric battery chemistries, such as Lead Acid, NiMH, Sodium-Ion
  
• CNG, LPG, Hydrogen ICE and Fuel Cell variants
• Knightbus-like triple-decker variant
  
• Electric variants with hub motors in the front and middle axles
• Manual transmission variants ✅
• Biarticulated double decker camper bus with 4 bedroooms (rear section, 2 back to back and one above another), a bathroom (lower deck, middle section), a conference room (upper deck, middle section), and a double-height living (in the front module)
  
• A double decker variant with the fuel tank/fuel cell/battery bank between two decks (unrealistic, but easily doable, would involve slightly lowering the lower deck ceiling to accomodate inter-deck space for the tanks/banks)
  
• Even more engine options (including, Gavril D series 5.8 V8 engine aka Ford Windsor V8, ETK 6D 120 ie Mercedes OM457, CM D95-6 aka Liebherr D95-6, 13.6l 4 cylinder opposed-piston 2-stroke engine (derivative of Cummins-Achates ACE))

 

A knightbus would be really cool. But I think that'd be a lot of work. All I'm gonna say is I second the knightbus thing but I don't like begging or recommending anything but if I were to recommend anything it would be a knightbus config because that would be awesome.

 

Recently I was traveling, and I found some sort of bus from Irizar that kinda resembled this one. Or the single deck version at least.

 

Yea it looks pretty similar. There's a lot of buses like that from a lot of companies. I know there are some that look more similar that you'll find in the Philippines and Burma, but the brand names I have no idea what they're called. But if you've seen some of those buses you'll know what I mean. Look kinda similar to the capsule. Others look like the capsule but have been turned into sports buses with spoilers and flame decals and big rims and body kits and stuff.

 

Hi, i've been encountering a problem where the wipers are there in game, i can turn them on and hear the sound effects, and even see the beams move if i hold ctrl, but they're invisible for some reason and can't seem to fix it, please contact me or just fix it CYCJoseph

I know I already asked for the option to have a keybind for the AC since the buttons arent working, but could there also be a keybind available to toggle the powerglow? Or does it just always stay on?

 

Articulated variant is very laggy.

 

Not sure that would make sense for a bus, but maybe it could be some truck with a similar design language. Capsule semi maybe? Cycjos Bullet, or maybe such a vehicle could even be called Cycjos Tablet if we’re keeping with the theme of names related to pill shapes

 

The current capsule already has a driving position that's roughly in the center.

Not for me it's not. Are you using the most recent version? Do you have a decent PC? Articulated/accordion/bendy buses could cause lag if your PC isn't up to spec.

 

would there be a low roof for gigatransit?

 

I'm looking for one as well.

 

Admittedly a somewhat crazy idea, but what about a cargo variant with cargo boxes inside? There would be quite some space.. and I would like to deliver my stuff all bendy
