0.31 Discussion Thread

Did it you down at all below these gears? Or are you just basing this on sound alone? I have not tested the Jake Brake much so it could be working, just quietly.

I can't wait for a mod to come out that adds physical mirrors to all vanilla vehicles before the devs can say, "the covet has em now."

 

Nice update, but why are the parts no longer sorted alphabetically (in freeroam)?
You can't find anything anymore (especially wheels)!

Agreed. So uh... anything else they added that was not "advertised" (other than livery and career changes).

 

Does teleport vehicle to free camera still work? If so how?

Bingo, its so bad its quieter with the windows open

 

Thats kinda sad. Speaking of witch do you think well ever get openable windows? I doubt it.

 

Its not really sad, just a reality with living with an old rustbucket

And on topic: Absolutely ! Have you seen the Bluebuck suicide door mod?, that has working windows, quarter vents, glove box, center console, sunvisors, animated spinning things for the uppy downy glass things, retractable antenna and.... wipers too! I expect to see a lot of details in our cars added that we couldn't go without in near few years or possibly even less!

 

The T-Series' "Decrease Compression Brake Level" key binding doesn't allow the compression brake to turn off entirely, only going down to 33%.
It'd be cool if this was changed, since I need to use another separate toggle key bind otherwise.

 

It worked in 3rd gear 1 time. and the only times it worked in first or second was if i downshifted at a rpm that over revved the engine in the lower gear. I looked in the LUA file to see if there were certain conditions that it works under but I didnt notice anything

There doesn't seem to be a way to open the gate on the dump truck variant of the T-Series

 

Try looking for a latch maybe? I haven’t tried out the dump truck so I’m not sure.

 

Was using box trailer with loading ramp, only went down a certain amount and stopped, not allowing cars to drive into the trailer. Is there a reason it didn't drop all the way down? I noticed new keybind options in settings but i couldn't bind them to lower the ramp comepletly

 

custom configs dont work with this update. when i go to save and load and click one of my configs, the car just resets and nothing changes

 

It still works, now even better than before as it rotates the vehicle in the direction of the camera. In free camera, there's a key you can press that sets the vehicle to that position, but I don't remember the binding name.
