Thanks for making this. Maybe I'm missing something but the "Higher Shadows Resolution" setting doesn't appear to work anymore. When set even with force settings on the shadows appear the same as setting them to 2048px in the world editor. I've tried with both the defaults in the world editor and the shadows set to 2048px in the world editor. They don't seem to go above 2048px anymore. Default 1024px shadows: Higher shadows resolution and force settings enabled with shadows set to default 1024px in world editor Higher Shadows Resolution and Force settings off. Shadows set to 2048px in world editor Higher Shadows Resolution and Force settings on. Shadows set to 2048px in world editor
I fixed the mod for V0.31. The way I did it was by just adding it to the supported versions list. There is an issue, though, and I do not know if it is just for me or a general issue. It's that when you turn "Lower Texture Quality" on or off, it seems to glitch the game in the way shown on the screenshot. This can be fixed by turning "Lower Shadow Resolution" on or off once. Other than that, it works fine, and all features seem to work. Until then, enjoy, I guess. Credits to Car_Killer for making this amazing mod in the first place.
Update v2.3 released - added compatibility for BeamNG 0.31+ - this update breaks compatibility with all previous versions due to new features mod uses - reworked UI - reworked some Lua code - updated Lua for BeamNG 0.31 - added real-time performance statistics - fixed shader glitches when using the lowest texture resolution - fixed an issue with default keyboard binding not working if the user had custom bindings - added higher dynamic reflections resolution setting - added higher dynamic mirrors resolution setting - added DOF settings - added smooth autofocus with player following mode - removed Vulkan API warnings
Nice one. Is it possible to add bloom slider? And maybe ability to hide the statistics window, i mean, it's nice but i'd've only used memory in addition to drawcalls tbh, who would even need hardware/software?
What about being able to fine-tune parameters by smaller steps, i.e. with extra < > buttons? Focus distance jumping from 0 to 8.5 to 17.0 limits close-up shots quite a lot tbh. Spoiler Also, since this is slowly becoming an AIO tool, add time, clouds, and fog sliders, thanks.
You can hold ctrl and left click on a slider and input any value you want As for clods, fog, etc I believe its not needed as game includes all those in the environment tab
Hmm, can't seem to open the menu anymore. Deleted, reinstalled, rebound the key, nothing. Edit: Found that it added a modifier to the keybind somehow, seems to be fixed after removing it.
The new menu when opened up lags my game pretty bad but goes away when I close the menu Menu not opened: Menu opened:
I can't open the menu either. I'd like to try your solution to see if that works for me, but I'm not sure how to remove a keybind modifier, can you let me know how? Edit: Got it working. For some reason I had to completely delete then reassign the keybinds, rebinding the existing binding to new keys wasn't enough.
Yea sorry, meant that it was a keybind issue. Basically if you look at the keybinds that have shift or ctrl key modifiers, there's a "+" between the keys. I noticed that the keybind had a plus, but no additional bind in the space before it.
I have a problem too, for some reason I can't open the window, I tried everything I read here but nothing seems to work. Has it anything to do with reshade? I don't really know how to uninstall it but I'll try and I'll let you know, in the meantime if you have any suggestion please let me know! Thank you in advance.
I am not sure whether this was intentional or not, but with update 2.3 the values of the sliders are restored properly when restarting the game. (I still have to re-enable some settings such as high quality shadows but at least it is correctly shown as disabled when opening the menu after restarting the game.) Thanks for improving this, @Car_Killer! Ah, that's good to know, I was editing the JSON file manually to get precise numbers I would recommend that you add this information to your first post on this thread so people new to your mod are more likely to see this.
