Re: General discussion chat if you think thats a lot of miles, then you've never seen my dads truck (over 250K miles, and just had its first tune up(the tuneup being a a few weeks ago) since we got it (we got it in like, 2007? it had 50K miles at the time) because it was misfiring, got the spark plugs replaced, as well as spark plug cables and coil packs) honestly i personally consider 250K miles the point in time where it has a lot of miles also your argument is really invalid in case of what potato's looking at, crown vics can easily go to 400K miles and still run fine

Too poor right now. I'd like to have one of the old ones with the digital dash. (not sure if/when they stopped doing that) Because digital dashes are cool. It's like being in a spaceship.
Re: General discussion chat Just gotta keep your eyes open for any of the typical issues. Up here there cheap because people don't like putting winter tires on their cars. Mine KBB'd at $6000. I got it for $2700 in New Hampshire. Gotta look out for rust to. I guess that's a plus of being in the south.

Re: General discussion chat the digital dashboard was discontinued for the 2006 and above models, 2005 and prior should have the digital dash as an option however (as it's just that an option) also i agree, digital dashboards are cool

Re: General discussion chat I don't have the budget for a rebuild. I'm putting my current motherboard into a new case, that's it. Few ditty bops here and there, but that's it. I just wanted to know if there's any performance increase at all. I should have used Google... It would have been more helpful. Having looked at it, for the price of a 4770K (just the CPU), I can upgrade to an 8320, put in an AverMedia c027 HD capture card, a second SSD, a raid controller, AND put it all in a new case. CPU world says it's 26% faster. It's an underclocked 8350. I'll take it to 4GHz and it'll be 46% faster.
Re: General discussion chat ah, yes. I knew the late 90s and early 2000s models had them, just wasnt sure what ever happened of them. It's nice not having to worry about rust. Cars last forever. You still gotta look out for it, though. You'll see the occasional body rot here and there.
Re: General discussion chat I have the digital dash. It's pretty cool. Lot's settings like Miles to Empty, MPG, two trip odometers and for some reason an average speed setting to. Fun to mess with people using the metric switch to. My car has a some surface rust on the frame but nothing to bad. My Ranger still has original frame paint on it and it's going to be 18 next year. Amazing for this area. Going to park it this winter.

Re: General discussion chat yes, because the 4770K is the ONLY intel cpu... oh wait i was talking more like an i5-4690K or something like that once again, it depends on the games you play, and how much you play said games (as well as how much you play beamng)
