SMALL OR NO USE OF YOUR PERSONAL VEHICLES
For me i would realy enjoy a career with use of your vehicles in challenges.
I find the idea of using lent vehicles for the challenges dull and the annoying part when you change it to personal vehicle you dont get money rewards.

I think it should be reversed where you get all of the rewards if you use your vehicle, but if you use the provided vehicle, you lose a significant portion of your profits.

Yeah, that makes a lot more sense. Maybe the provided vehicle could act as a rental of sorts, forcing the player to pay to use the it?

Yes!! my biggest gripe about the career mode is that you dont use your own cars for whatever reason. Really bizarre choice from the devs. Id love to do races with my own car. Or maybe have to buy a truck so i can do some of the delivery missions. Or build my own drift car for the drift events ect. I find myself doing delivery's more than anything cause its the only thing i can do with my own cars. Like why do i even have my own car if i cant use it for anything? Why would i buy anymore than one car? whats the point? It doesnt even feel like a campaign currently, it feels like scenarios with extra steps.

I appreciate your concerns, and I want to assure everyone that they are always being considered. You can find detailed information about the decisions and plans for Career Mode on the official thread located here: Early Experimental Preview of Career Concept | BeamNG

To directly address the concerns raised here though: Career Mode is currently under heavy WIP, and Delivery gameplay is the only "official" career mode gameplay at the moment, and in it's current release is only 40-45% completed. The reason Career Mode is hidden behind six clicks is that it's not yet ready for full play, but we encourage players to engage with the development process and share feedback in the linked thread above.

We value your posts, experiences, and feedback. I hope you'll find valuable insights as you read through the linked thread.

I fully agree using proposed vehicle gets a little dull as the only way to earn currency/progress and rather it be reversed, fully understand career mode is heavy WIP, just my hope for the future direction. I think of games like street legal which I find likewise with beamng in many ways. I liked that I had to buy a vehicle, use it, have to fix, buy new parts, tune to better progress. Also, even more common games like Gran Turismo an Forza... maybe not as much so with recent releases but loved their approach of progression. Also beam already has car parts and tuning so feel like much of the work is already there.
