I'm not as eager to play nice anymore, only speaking the truth. I was under the assumption that you already got permission before going through the painstaking process of converting this map to beamng, but I assumed wrong for the first time in a long while. Not so nice knowing that it will never release.
It might release sometime, or some random bloke out there will decide to port the exact same map without permission (However I doubt that scenario)
Is there some kind of consequences to releasing it that I dont understand? Other than the dissaproval of a few internet randomers. I get that the original author put lots of effort into it and doesnt want you to, but it was released to the world for free. As long as your not menetizing it for yourself I cant understand any reason why not to just release it to the public for free, especially since the work is already done.
I might reconsider it. Considering the fact how the author has ghosted me approximately 3 times already and I've seen others release their copies of High Force I'm probably gonna release it if I get Temp's (Co-Creator of this port) approval.
any chance i could grab current version. Im making a road car mod for beam ng and Im from the UK and this would be the perfect map to test it on. iv tried to get in touch on discord but could get hold of you. i will no distribute or showcase it in any way it will be just for personal use.
Alright here's what I'm gonna do. I'll dm the author ONE more time. If they ghost me again I'll just release the map. I'm tired of seeing how much some of y'all want the map
