The Altair is a 2+2 seater rwd coupe that is made by Ibishu from 1987-1992. It has popup headlights. The engines range from a 1.6l SOHC i4 engine with 102hp to a 2.0l DOHC v6 engine with 184hp. the hood is ready. But I still have to move the node where the latch is attached so it´ll open correctly.
The non-popup headlight front is ready. Also, I’ve reattached the rear suspension because it was too loose.
Maybe LetsDrive mistook something, since it still has the rear seats in the most recent pic (although it’s hard to see) --- Post updated --- How did I never figure out that I needed this in my life?
Analysis of this for no reason: should be easy enough tbh. The V6 from the midsize and for the 5A just copy the 4A, find everywhere where there’s (for example) 6 gear ratios (R, N, D1, D2, D3, D4), and add an extra ratio. Just everywhere that it implies there’s 4 positive gears add an extra thing so it’s 5. Surprisingly easy to do. If I’m bored once, I may even make the 5A myself and send the jbeam file here
I won’t add a v6, just use the one that comes with the kljp mod. --- Post updated --- Yes, I still have to figure out how I can fit the rear bench seat.
Drivetrain (this picture is the longitudinal fwd for the rotary engine(thanks to Kueso for letting me use it))
Here ya go, 5A transmission made for the Covet (not sure if the car's going to be separate in the car selector or not)
It’s been a while, and I’ve made some progress. The last few days I mostly did bug fixing. The rear suspension also get an overhaul. Now the traction issues are solved, the rear brakes work again and the struts don’t break after driving over a speedbump. The interior also got a few updates. I’ve fixed some clipping issues and added a center console. I’ve also fixed some uv map issues. The car is now using the midengine fuel tanks because the front engine fueltank was in the way of the rear subframe and differential. --- Post updated --- after modifying the rear bench seat it fits without clipping anything. So yes, it’ll have the bench seat
Because I got some requests I’ll try to add a digital gauge cluster. I don’t really know how to do that, but I can use something from a beamng car as a base. I’ll also try to add an active transfercase, that is fwd and switches to 4wd when there’s no traction.
