the most important thing you have to be careful with is budget, if you don't have a budget (or rather have infinite money) then you could try a setup like this: NVIDIA RTX 4090 (Specifically The Founders Edition) (GPU) AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D (CPU) G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB DDR5-6000 (2 x 16GB) (RAM) (Could Go Higher Than 32 GB If You Want But It's Probably Not Worth It) Alienware 34 QD-OLED (AW3423DWF) (Monitor, Though This Really Depends On Your Taste) ASRock X670E Taichi (Motherboard, or in general any good AM5 mobo) PSU: not sure honestly... storage is also something you need to choose based on your own preferences as basically any good M2 drive will do the job just fine. so yeah that's probably the most insane PC build excluding the fans, cooling system, thermal paste, case and all that kind of stuff, again i only listed those because i'm guessing you have an infinite budget, if you don't, don't go for it. in general this build also has a 5.8% processor bottleneck when it comes to graphically intensive tasks (according to PC builds though, i don't have a few thousand dollars or such a pc to test that theory out )
The i7 14700K or i9 13900K is also an alternative and dialling back the gpu because the 4090 requires more cpu horsepower
I forgot i made this, now i have a RTX 3070 paired with an I7 12700k and 16gb ddr5 ram and i run about 80 fps on ultra on WCUSA, on vulkan that is
you said they're better, you didn't say anything about them being alternatives. --- Post updated --- my bad i accidentally replied thinking that was your pc that you were using before, those are good specs i'd still recommend upgrading to 32 GB of ram in the near future because it'll be super helpful especially in resource heavy maps with alot of mods, that's about it though. congrats
Thank you! and yeah ill work up the money for that after i blew it all on a new keyboard. (its awesome though)
Why does everyone always say get the 7800x3d because its so good for gaming? I get its good in SOME game, 3D Cache however does NOTHING for Beam, you want cores for Beam, meaning Alder/Raptor Lake Intel CPU's are going to be best. If you Spawn lots of AI, the Intel CPU's will do better. That's a fact
