Here’s why (I think) we might get a remaster soon: No new mods today It’s been 2 months since 0.31, which would break the cycle if it was a major update Can’t be a teaser as it’s Wednesday Sunburst remaster has been wanted by many people 0.30.3 was released a couple days ago I think this may be 0.31.4, like with the Bastion. Please don’t scream at me for this okay
I've just checked it, if you open parts selector, there is a setting at the bottom to "Include auxiliary debug content", check it and this dynamic textures option will be there Maybe it will add additional layer where scratches and dirt will be dynamically generated
So, after going through each publicly available day of each update, I arrive at this: # 13 updates happened on monday # 26 updates happened on tuesday # 26 updates happened on wednesday # 28 updates happened on thursday # 33 updates happened on friday # 6 updates happened on saturday # 3 updates happened on sunday # ---------------------------- # 135 updates total # 49 days since the last major update # Average time between updates: 115 days # Expected update date: 2024-04-07 (66 days till update) Back then, weekend updates were a thing
I feel like 0.32 will have something to do with JDM, as I've seen a lot of demand for that segment recently. Specifically either the Miramar or 200BX, though my money is in the latter since it seems to be one of the more fanboyed vehicles in the game. Oh, and of course the Pessimas are also contenders - they'll likely be remastered within the same update as each other if this is the case.
I think it may be to soon for the Update to be near. However it should come march. ( ar around there ) I think the Sunburst has not even gotten a PBR ( while most other cars have ) its engine is also the most dated. as in Inside. I would love a hatch and small FWD eco coupe. ( God i miss Small FWD Eco coupes anyone agree with me ? ) While it is still fun to use it would i think be next ? Next is the Burnside. Its engine is dated but its ok. BUT there is not much to do with it. I know it has the Chop chop version. BUT it feels unloved and lacking. I-series holds up mostly well and has some work done last few updates. Same for Moonhawk, SO if i had to place a bet i would say Sunburst is going to get updated, IF so will it get a boxter engine and a little FWD coupe ( damm a AWD Flat 4 coupe sounding very Hot and fun now. )
So do you have anything else to do other than get aggressive on Internet forums and still complain about it?
I think dynamic decals are also used for unpainted parts (in career mode)(cant confirm), and will probably get developed down the road for dirt, scratches and such. Also, v0.31 dropped 14th December, which was 1 month ago* (especially if you add up the holidays), so they still need a bit time, they have been updating the qa_latest tho (could be another patch, or the next update). I also dont think new mods has anything to do with the progress of the update, they could just be working on the backend (so they either couldnt accept new mods or were busy with that)
