Controller and Graphics

Hello! I've been having issues with my xbox controllers and graphics. So my xbox controller has been lagging when playing, my bluetooth drivers are all up to date and my controller firmware was updated. I also have had some studdering issues after upgrading to a 2070 from my 1660 Super. My gpu is overclocked and the game says i'm averaging 75 frames but my gameplay still looks choppy and studdery. Any help is appreciated, Thank you

 

I've been having the same issue with my Xbox controller. My case of stuttering is pretty extreme. (avg of 144 fps down to 3 avg) Strangely, if I disable FFB on my Xbox controller the issue goes away. (I have a 2060)

Do you have FFB enabled on your controller?

You could press Ctrl + Shift + F to open a detailed performance graph.

What's your minimum FPS? If your minimum FPS is under 30, that could explain some of the choppiness.

 

My minimum fps is around 45, and ill check out that controller trick

 

If the controller trick doesn't work, you could try to run an older version, and then re-run the newest version. This will not reinstall Beamng, and will not remove your files.
