i have a FX-6300 and a 750ti a pretty decent setup to be fair. I just can not get it to even run at a solid 30 fps, even on the lowest settings at 720p 1080p theres alot of resolutions and graphics settings i have tried, but still cant get 30 fps at all times any fixes that you guys could think of would be much appreciated
    Thanks
    Biscuit :)

I've got an FX-8350 here... With one car I'm normally getting 40 - 50 FPS on Grid Map.

But that's not because of the "AMD optimization" of BeamNG, it's because these AMD CPUs are from 2011 and wasn't the fastest at that time... so yeah... only option is upgrading your CPU to get more frames! :)

Keep in mind that BeamNG is not like the most other games. BeamNG simulates the movement and position of a few hundreds to a few thousand "points" per car. And they can move each other and so one. It's very CPU heavy!

So let's just make a small calculation with a 1000 node/beam (what was the right thing? :p) car:

    1000 nodes/beams x 2000 UPS (Updates per second) = 2.000.000 point-updates per second just for one car!

Considering that it runs pretty fine! ;)

All floating point too (something AMD is crippled at compared to intel, intel having 1 FPU per core and AMD having 1 per 2 cores)

umm, you probably already figured this out and I hope you got one, but I thought that AMD motherboards are not compatible with Intel CPUs.

    Thanks, I'll tell you! :)

I bought the i7-5930K. It's the best CPU if you want to play games and render videos! :)

    Yes, it does ^^

My full upgrade (with new case):
    Mobo: MSI X99s Gaming 9 AC = 350€
    CPU: Intel Core i7-5930K = 500€
    RAM: Corsair Vengance DDR4 16 GB 2666: 275€
    Case: Corsair Obsidian 900D: 300€

With delivery charge and everything it's around 1.500€. ^^

But luckily I just have to pay for the CPU and the case... :)

arr, now you see, I live in Australia and I don't know how much that would cost is AUSD but it looks close to what it would cost for me, but please send me a PM about the problems you go through when doing windows again, because correct me if im wrong, you have a new chipset and that messes up windows.
