I already thought about a different dashboard, but since the centerconsole is joined with the dash itself, it could look in the end really bad in some areas. I already tried it, but it looked to bad.
There is already an european tailgate, maybe I will add barn doors, but Im not sure.
I plan to change the gauges, and maybe the shifter allignment, but I cant guarantee, that in the end it will look that much different.
    Underpowered diesel engines are planned.
What exactly do you mean with more seat configs? There are options for passenger vans or do you mean race seats for example?

Well, to sum it up, I will most likely not modify the dashboard, because it would be quite hard and in the end, it probably would look worse, than before. But I will change the column shifter.
About different variants/configs, I will think, when the mod is ready.

Shouldn't the windows for the facelift model be aligned like this? Looks a little off.

Congratulations on your work and thank you very much for renewing this mod. A riot version of the police would be interesting. :D

What exactly do you mean? Can you maybe post some example pictures?
Yes, there will be passenger versions, but I can´t guarantee, that the sliding doors will work.

I meant if the side and rear windows could be aligned with the facelift door windows.

I think, it looks good, how it is:
    Screenshot2024-02-22190609.jpg

Today, I messed a bit around with the tailgate and the sliding doors, to make both work on current Beamng standards, sadly with no success.
But I´ll keep on trying, until I ran out of cake (The cake is a lie!).
Anyways, I got in contact, with dart, the author of the original mod and maybe he will help me with this.

Also, I didn´t managed it, to get the camper version in game (it looked bad anyway and to make it look better, I would have to completly rebake the textures and the model, which I don´t have the time for.
I will tackle the gauges in hope, that I can add some nice european ones!

transit from 00s was possible with fwd, so it would make sense if it was available for facelift

still since its hseries based it would need a completly different front suspension, which would probably not be done

where i live i see these vans, they are probably made around the late 1990's and early 2000's.
And there a many rebadges like Opel, Mitsubishi Nissan and Renault

I don't know how to put this well but here it goes. It may be due to the shooting plane, colors, I don't know, I think that on the front there is something that with a small touch-up, slightly smaller and taller front lights and a different grille could look more European, it may even be that The license plate disturbs my perception, which is why I say that I don't know how to put it, from behind I consider it to be perfect. I love the work you are doing and I value it, I have your Cherrier mod among my favorites, I'm just giving my two cents, One more question: using the shape of the Gavril, a first generation Sevel van (Peugeot J5/ Fiat Ducato, etc. ..) Wouldn't it have been easier to adapt? Question for everyone by the way.

Hey since I have been gone I noticed your progress on 3d models and I can't believe how good you've started to become!
I can help you beta test again if you want.

I think, the design was originally inspired by the ford transit, I tried to make it a bit more similar:

I know, it still looks a bit american, but honestly I think it got the european vibe as well.
I might change some elements, but this could lead to severe model issues (it already took me quite a while, to bring it to this, what it is.

Also, Yes, Im using the shape of the gavril h series, because it is an addon for it. And I honestly dont really want to do meshslapping again, if its that, what mean with adapt it.
I mights add a new grille tho, lets see.

Also, please consider, that there is a bit the limitation in proportions and scale, to make it stil an addon for the gavril h series. For example, I not really want to do a new suspension, I would lead to too many issues and all, I want, is to release a high quality addon pack with some configs and customization.
