I suspect you can actually get around this with another gearbox controller modification. A lot of what people say is impossible is certainly possible with enough lua. I think the reason the game doesnt like having two gearboxes is because it only specifies changes to one in the gearbox controller, but if you make a controller that runs the lua code for each single gearbox (assuming they are identical) it probably would work.
yes, with a custom controller it's possible, but there's many nightmare stories. I was talking about running it with little/no modification though
Hi dude not sure if your still working on this but if you are since the last update i believe all the textures for the exterior have dissapeared? tried clearing cache to no avail.
IDK if you read these comments or if you're even still active, but here's everything I think should be improved: AWD system, IRL it's a gen 5 Haldex system that only engages the rear wheels when it detects slip and I think either the rear or both diffs are LSDs, in game it has a viscous center diff and open ones front and rear LCD gauges don't work In game the exhaust gets really loud in sport mode, not sure if the Polestar has exhaust bypass valves IRL but I know my T5 AWD doesn't There are no interior color options, just black or black with fancy brown leather. Also no interior feature options but most BeamNG cars don't have that either. Taillights look kinda weird I think there's a couple wheel designs missing
Im not sure why but when I go to bumps there is the old Beamng suspension noise. Does this happen to anyone else?
Superb mod. Been my go to as a p3 v60 owner. The only things i request are black window surrounds (instead of chrome) and black mirror caps! (and of course the tft cluster whenever thats completed)
Is this mod still in development or have you abandoned it? It's pretty good for an early beta but it definitely isn't finished. I'd like to see a working gauge cluster, some interior color options (my IRL V60 is beige interior with black dashboard), better PBR materials and lights, better suspension tuning (currently the height adjust doesn't work right), better AWD system, and new BeamNG features like openable doors and the new sounds.
id like to come back to this mod and work on it eventually, add features and stuff like that. But im lazy and havent had the time lately.
hey, at least you're honest about it /j in all seriousness, focus on keeping yourself well and stuff, you can always come back to this mod later. speaking of which, hope you're doing alright.
If you have some time and Motivation for it, could you add the D3 engine? It is currently missing. And all that would also be nice:
