They're not gonna shift the entire focus of the update just because a few people would rather have a Sunburst remaster. Just be patient for god's sake.
I'm pressed because it always happens, the devs post literally anything on their YouTube community page, whether it be an update or a teaser, and there's at least 20 comments saying "(insert whatever car here) remaster plz" or "nooo i wanted this car to be remastered " and it just never stops. At least the forums are more mature but still.
Whatever smh, if it is a 200BX I hope theres a homologated turbo 4ws version with awd or something, and ofc a rally car
it would be quite funny if it turned out to not be another millionth 90's jdm coupe, pissing off half of the fanbase in the process. it does look a lot like a 200bx based car, however.
OH wow how awesome is this. i was not looking forward to another Buggy ( sorry ) I was just talking to my family about 1990s Coupes ( off all makes ) While i love 1920s-90s US cars. here is what i think. Maybe German? I would love a silky smooth V12 and the lesser not as good V8! Just a v8 ( god that sounds funny in 2024 all engines are a i4 ) Anyway and base with a i6/v6. I dunno does not feel German to me? 2 US coupe. All of that live axle V8 tire smoking goodness ( grand marshal ) based coupe. Maybe the GM is getting a remaster and like the Legrand this may be a Coupe version like Wendova? Or maybe a Lincoln-Continental-Mark- type US luxury car? With IRS rear and a sloppy speed Even with a V8. ? 3 JDM? A car from japan it kinda looks to big IMO. For the 200BX..... Are we getting skyline :O with new engines Sounds, Maybe a 300BX based on the skyline. 4 most unlikely, reminds me of Holdens and falcons from my home land of down under ( Australia ) Like a Gavril spider or jackaroo if Aussie. BUT i dont think so. If it was we would love a 1970s Holden HQ/Ford Falcon XA( Or VH valiant ) type car with Wagon/ute/sedan/and panel van ( if you know the panel van thing you know ) What ever it is. I love coupes. I hope it comes in a rusty skin so i can abuse it ( with love ) while playing GG allin. OR in a nice mood drive it while playing GTA 4 music. Kinda reminds me of GTA 4's Fortune ( witch is a Ford thunder bird ) SO IMO i think big bird ( as i call new car ATM ) is a US Luxury type car, What ever it is. PLEASE be RWD. We had lots of FWDs lately (Nothing wrong with that ) yes i dont count the off road stuff sorry i love them but just not me lol, What ever it will be. It will be lovely i love coupes Sorry for spelling mistakes
I'm guessing the car shown in the teaser isn't JDM, as the taillights are just red, no amber (so I assume, just a guess)
Just in case people can't see that it is clearly a 200BX remaster. It's all in the rear body lines, no other car in BeamNG has got a butt like that. And now it looks like they've finally given it a good looking front.
This CANNOT be anything other than the infamous 200BX Look at the trunk line of the coupe and compare it to the 200bx we have now. The c pillar/doorline is extremely similar to s13/signia from kljp the tailights are as thick as the ones we have now There is a split for indicators/braking lights on the trunk --- Post updated --- Please people, dont get too optimistic for your shitty 90s thunderbirds or calibers
hmm and maybe the one we see is a facelift or early or a diff version of the 200bx! but i am strongly positive it will be a 200bx remaster
Ohhh a 2 door sedan 200bx. As much as i LOVE US Thunderbirds. Some JDM ( 200BX ) love is more then welcome
Front looks a lot like an r32 skyline. Rest of the car has to be the 200bx. taillights look exactly like the 200bx.
Doing away with the pop-ups would only be possible if the car had a second body style available simultaneously. The Japanese are famous for this tactic after all, just look at the Hatchback SX/Notchback Silvia S13, like you said, and the kinda more complicated case of the '83 Corolla Levin/Sprinter Trueno (complicated in the sense that it had two names for essentially the exact same car minus the front fascia treatment, which made the end deal). They're the same cars underneath, but the body details change. --- Post updated --- Or some cut Grand Marshal units. Unless we see some R33 base Skyline-style units, with circles hidden inside of them. Hmmm... --- Post updated --- Tbh, it feels a bit anonymous and soulless to just name it the "300BX", especially if it's the flagship model of a brand. But again, the Japanese have been doing this for decades, especially with their export models. But still, I'd love it to have a proper name instead of a computer code line (even if it is quite literally a supercomputer on wheels). --- Post updated --- Very smart reference indeed! --- Post updated --- For being an R34, it would have to be from the late-90s and the indicators would have to be clear instead of amber. So it's more like a late-80s/early-90s JDM to me.
im predicting the 200bx 2.0 will have a liftback/popup "240" style, and a alt coupe/fixed "silvia" style because devs tend to keep the car styling, but adding more features
I want to believe you but the thing is that the car doesn't convince me for being the 200BX because it looks a bit larger than that. At least one size class larger, I'd say, and that's in spite of the fact that the distance of the car is set a bit far away from the "photographer".
