There are more bad news, apparently every HTML file inside the mod are giving false positive, this time it's the clock. I will figure out how to fix it all right now.
Don't worry, you can take as much time as you need. If you get bored with fixing HTML files then you can also add new features to the mod lol (maybe) But I am curious to why this is happening and what in the HTML file is triggering this false positive.
I don't know how everything is causing Windows Defender to go crazy about it all of a sudden, maybe Windows Defender got broken after an update or something? I don't know, it doesn't triggers anything on my PC, Car_Killer's PC, and for some other people, but for most it just does for no reason at all.
This is a video showing the file being scanned into windows defender and it does not detect any viruses. I think that the problem with the file may be with chromium browser's (chrome, edge, brave, etc.) internal virus protection mechanisms. Maybe the people not facing this problem are using firefox or tor. I personally tried to download it on edge and when it failed I downloaded it using tor. So maybe this will help you narrow down the problem but I am not so sure. I just wanted to tell you what I found out. EDIT: Shi, I just realised that the file explorer window did not get captured on the screen recording, this was the window which was present on file explorer btw
I have the same thing when i try to scan it on my main PC and my laptop, both of which also run Windows 11.
it's something called torque steer when too much power/torque goes into an fwd car due to the engine being more to one side than to the other one wheel spins faster this is fixable via modfiying the geometry of the suspention --- Post updated --- another thing this mod is not a virus i scanned it with every anti virus i have and nothing and for all of you who are not satisfied and still think it's shady no trojan can work in a .zip file
That's a thing with most BeamNG cars to be honest, It is annoying to see that happen but i just can't deal with it right now, besides my focus is on releasing it on repo, and only after that i'll do the bug fixing.
you might have a point, I use firefox and there's been no virus detected, and I'm pretty sure Windows Defender can't detect individual files inside a ZIP file unless it's unzipped but yeah it's probably chrome
