The ETK-I and ETK-K series specifically are so close in performance that the extra costs associated with the K series just plainly isn't worth it.

I played through career myself, and then saved my cars for use in free-roam.

On West Coast Long Circuit 1, there's only a three second gap between the cars, and it would be even less if I dropped the boost on the older I series so that it didn't overheat. I also used nitrous more on the K series than I did on the I series, so there's that difference to consider too.

Top speeds are very similar as well, and I was able to get over 200mph on both, which in Career mode, matters very little until you get to the T4 motorsport races like Highway 1 and 2.

I also ran into some issues with both car series that should be addressed. The K series has more engines available than the I series, but even with a turbo V8 it still only eeks out around 600HP, the same that the I series gets with an i6T. The I series can also hold more cargo which is especially important when considering costs and cargo missions.

The lack of engine customization on the K series and the lack of higher end upgrades for the I series is what keeps these cars so close to one another.

In practicality, they are the same. The I series will run into heat issues sooner than the K series, but only if you have too much boost or too big of a nitrous shot. When factoring how important top speed is in Career mode, once again, this matters very little.

However, the K series is significantly more expensive to purchase and upgrade, which makes it a very poor choice considering the I series can be purchased in Career for less than 5K BeamBucks and is one of the three starting cars.

Here are my two cars, play with them a bit and see for yourself. I am not very good at tuning and they are tuned for personal preference. The suspension on the I series is too stiff at the moment and the gearing on both kinda sucks.

The ETK I-Series needs a remaster along with the Ibishu Miramar.

In career mode, the maximum performance matters more than the base model. I'm not complaining about the basemodels. I'm complaining about the lack of serious upgrades. The Gavril D-series has more top end upgrades.

It makes sense considering the k series is newer, of course it's more expensive and not necessarily better performing

So the k-series' price should be decreased even if it has ESC\more parts\better design and better handling.Lap record is the only standard, right?
