Update Speculation thread

My speculation for teaser patterns :
-3 weeks 2nd teaser
-1 week 3rd teaser
-3 weeks 4th teaser

Also why can’t the devs provide a teaser after 3 months? It’s so weird that 3 months later they can only have 1 image worth of progress. This is kinda becoming an issue, since 0.30. How can you run out of time for a teaser for nearly 3 months and still only give us 2-3

They kept yapping about how they’ll need notepad++ for the .dds format

 

i dont think its that they are running out of teasers, but rather they dont want to tease more than they do. I kinda like it, bigger surprise once the update comes, less spoiled before the update, and more speculation

 

we all just need to chill tf out, like either the update is soon or the devs are teasing us, its not worth acting like children over. keep it civil (please)

Someone said that the update would come out on March 15th (tomorrow), using a chart, and my sanity now depends on that being true.

 

We would have seen more of the supposed 200BX by now if that were the case. Also, who's "someone"?

 

the creator_program hasnt been updated (you can see it on steamdb, usually updates 3-10 days before update, so youtubers can prepare video in time), so i really doubt it. Most updates released early april, so thats probably the safest bet.

And this is why data analysis depends on more than just plugging numbers into an excel sheet and looking at the number it spits out... Not that I would even attempt to apply any statistical analysis to a software release schedule since it depends on so many factors, most of which we don't have access to, and it is based largely on bug fixes which may as well be random.

I don't believe we've ever had the spring update come that early anyway.
0.9 was April 14th 2017
0.12 was April 3rd 2018
0.16 was May 3rd 2019
0.19 was April 8th 2020
0.22 was March 29th 2021
2022 didn't get a spring update
0.28 was April 4th, 2023

It's mid March and we only have 1 teaser. We aren't getting an update this week.

 

My bet is currently on the first week of April, which would coincide nicely with my birthday, therefore I don't desire for it to come any earlier

 

My Steam library of over 30 "played-to-death" relatively new games, hasn't had a major update worth anything since the last BeamNG update.

yay.

And before you ask, my gaming budget is small at best.

Also, my gaming library increasing, largely relies on the kindness of others...
The others have not been kind for a while.

since 0.31 came out on the 14th/15th dec then it might come out in 14/15 of march cause on those dates it would have been three months but i dont think im right though.

 

I am looking forward to the new update which will likely include a remaster of the Ibishu 300BX
interesting to see the new body styles and features they will add
shame we have not had a teaser in a while though
