I started playing about Version 0.14, back when meme humor was actually funny because when I was younger I had been collecting a bunch of loose change I found around the house, on sidewalks, etc. and eventually saved up to get BeamNG, because I was OBSESSED with YBR back in the day, and I convinced my parents to help me download steam, and get BeamNG.Drive. That's my story.
Used Skrillex in the background, used poor grammar, and added a watermark at the top. Truly nostalgia inducing.
you can check thru steam by going to account details and seeing when you purchased the game, then trying to find an update that was in the time frame you got beamng, so for example for me, i started playing on 0.15
Ok I can check when I am back home . --- Post updated --- I remember when I first played beamng when I was like 8 years old my dad downloaded beamng version 0.3.0 off a czech file uploading site for free and I played it on a potato laptop that I donated to school, he eventually bought it on steam (i am glad i was able to support the beamng devs) when the beamng cover on steam was a rally sunburst on east coast usa, there was no pbr materials, ibishu wigeon did not exist, pre-remaster ibishu covet, pre-remaster gavril t-series and no gridmap v2. Very good old days .
