-Japan Japan would make use good use of all the drift cars present in the game, and would fit nicely with a 200bx remaster. This could also possible steal some Forza fans as they have been rooting for a JapMap for years -Australia Australia also has an abundance of fun mountain roads, except the difference here is the mountains also accomadate plenty of off-road trails as well (I'm an Aussie so I would personally be has happy as a dog with two tails if this happened) -Somewhere Snowy Snow is in the game, but has only been used in one map, and is only used for the top of the map. This indicates pretty clearly that sooner or later we will see a full snow map.
Last years April update First near teaser was late Feb 2023 Update april 2023 This Coupe teaser seems to be 28th Fen. SO Update should April ( i hope ) SO i am very interested to see if we get a new teaser this Week. And if update is after all on the way. Mind you covet/ETA was teased very very early. When it was still in its 3d model stage, Haven't said that the bastion and van Did follow a pattern where 2months ish we got a teaser before update. This coupe looks in game. BUT cant rush art. But am very Hyped Sorry for posting lots
I can confirm, I'm currently driving through country Australia, and I see about a hundred road trains a day. Edit: Here is an example
Oversize is different from a road train, that's just a single drop deck trailer. But I know what you mean, it's common to see the back of trailers just have "train" on the back as the "road" label is covered when not in a road train config.
Update on the map: Stenyak Oof, my apologies, I'm gonna correct myself here. This secret map might or might not be "upcoming". Let me explain... This map is part of research work. As with all research work, this might lead to a playable result, or it might lead to nothing that can be published. Both possibilities are perfectly normal, and part of the regular research&development process, because we're trying to push boundaries into unknown areas. So whether we end up finding a way to make the map happen, or we realize there's some technical limitation that cannot be solved, it'll have been a valuable learning experience either way. Of course we hope it can lead to a map we can release (and that's where my mind was when I said "upcoming"), but it is not guaranteed. This is not uncommon, we have had plenty of research maps/vehicles/physics features/gameplay/etc which led nowhere, and therefore couldn't be developed further to try to get a final product to be included in a release. This is a bummer for us as much as for you, so we typically prefer shut up about things until after we've seen they are viable
I hope we can get some eastern european map, for example Hungary, Poland etc. In thoose maps the roads wouldn't be so good like on the ECUSA.
I mean, it would be simpler to do Kyiv at that point, it's a city, and it's separated by a big river, and you can cross the river with a boat. Having two pretty big locations near each other is a cool idea, but it's a lot of work considering that you have to find ideas of houses for those places so that they don't feel empty, add signs, add snow physics and so on. And Beamng maps are usually set in a set location, set country, so good idea, but probably not happening.
hear me out for map: 1. Somewhere snowy we dont have a snowy map and they are super fun, something like finland maybe 2. eastern europe we do have polish roads but some official estonia/romania/etc content or balkans/southern europe would be cool 3. Asia japan/malaysia would be sick and east russia would also be pretty cool, somewhere like vladivostok 4. uk/australia? an island like the uk kinda like italy would be fun, maybe new zealand too --- Post updated --- i just read this :skull: welp
This is interesting, they do say its "desired". So there is a chance that it might not be (ever) added.
I believe we’ll see cross-map career mode in the future. But I like that the devs focusing on one map and packing activities into one area so career mode doesn’t feel diluted.
Its fully possible that with the new containers, we will see seacan lifter like this There is no reason why the devs made the ability to attach separate seacan to a trailer without a planned way to load them (the nodegrabber is just a little sketchy), so it would make sense they would add one of these. Most likely it is in the works
It's not a secret anymore! --- Post updated --- Ah, crap... So other in words it's (probably) not happening.
There's plenty of other ways to move a conex though. We know that ropables are WIP and winches are are on a short term wish list. Personally I usually work with 10 and 20ft boxes and move them with either my Cat 950 or my roll off knuckle boom truck. Winches would allow us to have a roll off (I legit would love to have a roll off truck for laborer career missions), and we probably already could get hydraulic equipment in game. A winch with the roll back we already have would work too. For the 40 foots we're currently out of luck, but there are specialized trailers with hydraulic booms, and sometimes those systems can be found on non-articulated truck too. While those options are still a lot of work to get in game, they are more versatile than a dedicated container handler. That all being said, James did mention he'd like to see some utility vehicles in game so he could work on some gameplay of this sort.
