Hello! Love the mod so far, just wanted to check about something. It seems that some off-road configs are broken. Both the TC-84/4 and the MudRunner config are supposed to be 8x8, but because the Dual-Shift-Plus transmission doesn't have an AWD transfer case option, the front axles are unpowered and they become 8x4. The TC-84/4s military version has the 5-speed twinsteer automatic, which does have an AWD transfercase, so it works as intended. Just wanted to make you aware.
Are you sure about that? While they don't have "(twinsteer)" in the name all the transmissions my mod adds should include a transfer case slot in them so they can be used as RWD or AWD. Though I'm at work RN so I can't confirm something else isn't broken. Looks like the EV gauges didn't get cached right. Try clearing cache.
This is my end. One of my other mods might be breaking something but I'm fairly sure not? You can see how the transfer case connecting to the front rear axle isn't present.
The transmission is working as intended on my end. Given that only one transmission is affected I think there might be some corrupted or improperly updated mod files. try deleting and reinstalling the mod.
Silly me, sorry for bothering you with this. I figured out that I still had a copy of your old standalone 12-speed transmission mod in my repository folder and it was overwriting the 12-speed that this mod adds. Deleting it fixed that right up. Thanks for the help, though!
Bella's Cabover Parts mod is updated with compatibility to this mod so you could bring it back to the mod as an update --- Post updated --- https://www.beamng.com/resources/bellas-cabover-parts.29244/update?update=53503
Dude, the whole point of that change was to make this mod independent from any other mod. Bella's mod has the compatibility files so it should work the same as it did before only now you don't get invisible tires without it.
Last time I checked, removing Bella's mod makes the extra tires invisible even though I have this one up to date.
Will this mod still continue to be updated after the next game update? Cause it looks like (at least) a few new parts are being added to the T-series
I will most likely continue work on it after the next update(especially because it's likely to break at least some of my mod). Though I won't be as active with BeamNG modding for a while as the snow is finally cleared up here and I'm starting to work on my IRL vehicle projects.
Update 0.40 -Altered Roadranger UI gear display to properly represent the IRL box (R-N-1-2-3-4-5) -> (R-N-L-1-2-3-4) -Made the UI gear display change based on the range-box state for the Roadranger and Super transmissions - Twinstick gear UI will now display both main and auxiliary gears - Altered Roadrangers to be slightly better with sequential shift - Removed FFB output from rear steer axles to reduce weird FFB behaviour. - Renamed EV TC modes to "Normal" and "Offroad" - Removed "Park" shifter position on EV's
Here's a minor idea: give us the ability to put a small Cargo Box where the Tandem Rear Frame's fifth wheel would normally be. You know, just like the 0.30 T-Series.
I just noticed that there are way more tires to choose from now, but they're invisible when I equip them. Are these WIP or is there some dependency I don't know about?
Could you please add a "Short Tridem Frame" version to the Rear Frame? Or even just add a third axle option to the "Tandem Drive fifthwheel Frame" The "Medium Tridem Frame" is a couple feet longer than the day cab tri-axle heavy haul trucks we have around. Base game was lacking and we lost all the good T-Series mods with the last update. But this mod is better than all the old ones combined. Thanks.
