Camera works just like normal orbit camera and only on one car. Other cars are not in frame most of the time except when i drive the main car towards them. It is the same in scenarios and freeroam. I have no mods installed. I am using 1 g29 1 generic controller and a keyboard

Hello, and welcome to the forum.

this is an intentional feature as otherwise the game would have to render twice which would melt most computers

    Hi,
I have exactly the same problem. I used to play demolition derby with my son, yesterday we tried again but the camera now focuses on player 1 only, makes multiseat mode almost unplayable. Unfortunately it's been a while (1 year) since we successfully played so I don't know which patch broke it.

I have played last time in summer while it was working for me. It is a real shame it doesn’t work since it is so much fun to play on local

Most likely a bug, you should submit a support ticket for this bug. Features like multiseat were likely ignored after a few updates. It might be a problem with the camera system.

We'll release a fix for this in the upcoming v0.30 update (no ETA available). Thanks for reporting!

I hate to bump but I think this is happening again months later, even in safe mode with mods disabled the camera just focuses on the car in front and anyone behind just gets left out of frame. Unsure if it's an issue for others but it sounds exactly like what OP described here.

They capped out the camera zoom out and forgot Multiseat existed, so that’s why it’s broken.
I heard it’ll be fixed in the next update tho

If it's the same issue as reported here, then it has already been fixed internally, and the bugfix will be shipped in v0.32 :)
