oh I know what he is talking about! I haven't the game launched at the moment but it's at the Daishi Toll Gate, the one with a little parking lot near Daishibashi bridge! I have a rather old hardware (i5-Amd Radeon R9 390) and I'm assuming it's because of how old my machine is getting (this one toll booth)
You should follow the progress of SRP. They are adding a lot of stuff, including the Shibuya city center, the Yaesu route, functional PA parkings, and so on. It looks way different from what we have in Beamng mod right now. That's why I say it will need a completely new map port, due to all changes. Maybe a few things will be ported from current BeamNG port, but not much. Thank you, I will take a look what is going on here From unrelated things, I found a way to improve traffic behavior at intersections, so I might update the map again after the next BeamNG update.
Wonderful. And when is that update being released? --- Post updated --- Wonderful. And when is that update being released? What i would like to do for myself at least is in Blender trace curves over the rails I get stuck to most often (some are right next to where the car spawns) and then use geometry nodes to generate a mesh that goes over the problem area and import that into the map as an invisible wall. Do you think they will fix the sticky rails in the next official release? --- strange forum issue - if I don't remove the metadata from the quote tag, typing in the reply box is severely delayed and the message is never sent. Couldn't submit my original message or edit my last message with the original message text pasted in. Only worked after I removed `="Car_Killer, post: 1701901, member: 27522"`
Could you forward improvement info to the devs? Also are they aware that on highways the AI goes 10 MPH under the limit and randomly merge into you?
As they said multiple times already, they will remake the map and add the missing areas when the SRP devs release v1.0 for Assetto Corsa
gtx 1070ti, i5-7400, 16ram but I know that this map should have more fps, because on other maps I have 60.
I believe your ram might be an issue. Map needs at least 10gb of free ram to work properly. So if you have some apps running in the background it might cause issues.
It's possible to get it running on 8gb (7 usable) on linux using zram and zswap lol, but not very performant. But I guess 30 fps is better than no fps
Updated the map for BeamNG 0.32. Changelog: Fixed small lua issues Simplified some lua code Updated speed cameras to use the new in-game system Fixed AI roads on junctions Download in the first post:
I play another game at 20-ish FPS regularly on a laptop. I agree with this statement. Heck, I get "only" 40 FPS on WCUSA default spawn, and I am perfectly happy.
