You're correct, no career-mode fuel delivery gameplay for this upcoming release, we want to do it right and it just wasn't in the cards for this development cycle! The other gameplay is working really really nicely though, and it will hopefully fill the void!

A minor note I have about the Central Station of the WCUSA: the multiple stairs around the elevators, leading to the train platform, seem to have an invisible wall at their starting points and they're just not accessible on foot, try as I might. I know this isn't the thread for such notes but this certainly is an aspect of the Career Mode in the WCUSA map and of the overall Quality of Life within the sim. :)

edit: Another minor note! The new BCPD Parking Lot (and all parking lots in WCUSA for that matter) has no artificial lighting in its three stories during nighttime. Only the ground level with the yellow pillars has lights but they're still a bit weak during nighttime. In general, the Parking Lots in WCUSA are too dependent on natural daytime sunlight.

Any plans on changes to the parking spawn sets? It's a bit weird driving through the nice suburbs near the city with the big expensive houses and seeing half of the cars parked in driveways be clapped out LeGrans and 30 year old Pessimas

It's also annoying having to ram cars out of delivery parking spots. ( although it's a pretty good excuse for a chrome bullbar on my LWB H series :))

A recommendation I’d love to give is an active used ‘online’ vehicle market for private sellers. It could show a list of private owners selling their car in the area with recently sold cars and for sale cars posted (better deals having a chance to fly by quicker without notice while lemons could linger). Imagine checking your PC and seeing a solid low milage car having been on sale and sold for cheap while you were on a trip.

When a player selects to go check out a desired car it could then spawn at the location it’s meant to be test driven (or loaded if it’s a junker players wish to take chances on).

This system could tie nicely into barn finds and car flipping. Maybe even selling. It’ll also feel up-to-date with how we find cars in our personal lives :)

Firstly, is there a plan for when dynamic, repeatable races against matched opponents, similar to SLRR, are going to be implemented? From playing Career Mode it seems like the basic mechanics are already all there, but there's still nothing to really do with your tricked-out sports car build as there are currently just the challenges using preset cars.

Secondly, how will going between maps work when Career Mode is expanded beyond WCUSA? I think it would be great if the American non-island maps could be
"strung together" so you can teleport between them by driving to specific points at the edge of each map, allowing you to drive between WCUSA and ECUSA, for example, without ever opening a menu, crossing Johnson Valley (California), Utah, and possibly Industrial Area (Texas), Derby Arenas (Texas), and Hirochi Raceway (inland Maine) in between. I assume that driving your car to the port and shipping it, probably for a fee, would be the only way to get it to Jungle Rock Island, Small Island USA or Italy.

Thirdly, I think one addition that could really improve Career Mode would be increasing the range of upgrade parts available for all cars and engines, and specifically having multiple parts in the same category. For example, if you have a Covet, you could either upgrade it with an Ibishu performance intake of the same model fitted to sport Covets at the factory, or a cheap Chinese aftermarket sport intake that would differ in cost, added power and reliability. And there should be aftermarket performance parts and forced-induction systems for all base-model engines that don't currently have them, such as the straight-sixes in the Barstow and Moonhawk (turbo kits for six-cylinder classic Mustangs do exist in real life), rather than the player having to swap in a larger engine just to access any of those upgrades.

Now that vehicles repaired panels are grayed out and have to get repainted would it be possible to implement a system similar to this into free roam gameplay that allows you to do individual colors for a different panels

In fact, you should be able to replace panels with used ones taken from other vehicles (of same model) and panels should stay in the colour that vehicle it comes from had

A bit of a bug report... I say "a bit of" since, well... I have 2 and I admit neither really add much to the conversation.

First: if anyone watched Failrace's recent video on the career mode you can see that Alex started a delivery mission while still in the tutorial, which... Honestly didn't seem to break too much, other than allowing him an extra free repair. I'm surprised at how little that seemed to break the game, but still shows that there's some more limits needed on the player during the tutorial.

Second, The mission "Street Rivals" has been giving me a few issues. First: Am I crazy or does the map preview show the wrong course? It seems to show that after the tunnel exit the course makes a right then doubles back on itself instead of just making a left. Second, I experienced some really wonky behavior while resetting the race on one occasion. Unfortunately I don't really have enough details to replicate the bug, but on one occasion when I reset the race it broke my car. It was almost like the game though the handbrake was on? Engine would rev slow, cycle through the drive gears, and the car would only move as much as if the handbrake was on. I couldn't get it out of drive, and nothing I did as far as resetting the car/mission, changing cars, or cycling through ESC modes and the parking brake would work. Towing the car to the garage, storing it, and retrieving it did work. I know reporting a bug I can't replicate isn't the most useful, but I figured just noting some wonky behavior with resetting missions is something at least....

    Career mode soft-lock with challenges:

Loading into challenges the screen will stay black indefinitely. I've found a method of clicking around the top left quadrant of the screen and hitting the escape key, alternating between the two quickly, will get out of the black screen, but then the UI for the start of the challenge disappears with the wheel menu popping up on screen, and then there is no way to get the challenge start UI to pop back up to start the challenge. Instead it allows you to control the vehicle as if it's parking brake is still applied (i.e. rev engine, move tires, change view, etc). You are then stuck in this screen, unable to restart the challenge, and instead are only able to abandon the challenge. Once you abandon the challenge and try to replay it, the same thing happens. This is mostly in challenges that have more than one stage, such as the garage to garage challenge, but it was also happening on the Pigeon cannon challenge. it renders career mode almost unplayable

My game was in full-screen mode (not windowed or windowed borderless).

Just got an idea after reading a post on the 0.31 discussion thread, what if upon arrest cars got impounded if you didn't have enough money to pay a fine (or maybe after too many offences)? Possibly the parking lot for the police station could also be used to hold the cars there. I'd imagine it working somewhat like the Test Drive Unlimited jail system https://testdrive.fandom.com/wiki/Police#Test_Drive_Unlimited.
Not sure if it should only be limited to the car itself or also extend to the player.

That shouldn't be too hard to implement since the BLR mod does exactly that. But at the moment all the police chases happen with 3rd party cars. Once they implement using your own car for criminal activities that should be fun and doable.

I imagine a thing where you can take your own car from there and add to a criminal record of some kind (which might make police look for you in the whole map and try to take you down)
But generally the „steal car back” thing would be nice to see, ofc along with the whole impounding thing :D

What if you could buy cars from police auctions? Such as old police cars and/or impounded cars.

Imagine having like a real time online auction where players can auction there builds and rare cars ( like the pigeons for instance i still cant find it lol), i imagine that it would be too complicated and would make the ui laggier than it is now it would make the game feel more alive and would create new ways of making money like builiding sick builds and then putting them up for auction for profit..

Woah. I wasn't even thinking about online auctions! It could be kinda like the Forza Horizon series auto auctions!

Yeah and maybe drop rare liveries or ultra rare cars ( like the red bull mini cooper maybe a version with the covet) it would be sick!
