The Nano must be the biggest pile of shit of a car to ever roll out of a production line. The sedan version made me double puke.

^He's got a point. It's built as cheap as possible. Really, what do you expect for 1k?
It's got those little tiny wheels though. I want to know the measurements.

OK, bit off-topic, but still Ford RWD coupe type car related-ish...

I know these wont appeal to everyone, but if at least one person likes one of these i'll be happy :p

Future (within ten years) Ford RWD sports car, for the European market.

They're all good in my opinion. You have some insane drawing skills.

I don't know how good you are at following directions while drawing, but if you are (or are a good designer) I could see you moving to concept art for real companies. (My screen is tiny though, so YMMV) ;)

I don't like any of the designs themselves, I'll admit that, but your drawing skills are exceptional. You've got the perspective and everything right, and the shading is nice for what I assume is pencil sketches coloured on a computer?

Have you drawn existing cars before?

Nah, i really want to become a car designer, not just rendering someone elses designs. I think my sketching/rendering skills may be higher than my design skills, but im always looking to improve, and am still in the learning phase.

That being said, its easy to look at an existing design, concept, sketch or production, and say that looks good or bad, but coming up with it from scratch is harder than you might think. Of course i value everyone's opinions, and taking them onboard is vital in order to improve, since realistically im designing for others, not myself.

The ultimate goal is to be able to walk down the street, point at a car, and say i had a part in designing it. Until then, i wont be satisfied.

I really like the first and third cars. The one with the wing is the more far-fetched design, but the other two look really good. I can definitely see those being cars within 10-15 years.

The first one looks pretty awesome. Second one is sorta weird, I'd much rather have a racing version of the first design with a big wing and splitters. The third one is nice, the front fenders and taillights do look a bit odd though.

I like them, I'd drive every single one of them. Have you started thinking of the drive train options yet? All wheel drive would be amazing on those cars.

You have talent I really like your drawing skills, Do you study any sort of art? You're really good at it.

Nope RWD only! Whole idea behind the car is that its meant to be all about the driving experience. Heres a rough pic of the drivetrain and chassis ive got for this. Twin electric motors, big flat battery, 6spd gearbox, CF Tub.

In my mind that's what'd be there, naturally aspirated straight 6, but my tutors would never accept that.

We have similar minds when it comes to engines. I instantly thought I6.

Why wouldn't your tutors accept it though? Are they prius-driving ecofags?

Well the Auto tutors are petrolheads, but we have to present to the product designs guys too, and i dont think theyre too keen the idea that a car can be bought and driven purely for pleasure, it has to be innovative in some way.

I made up some bull about a system in the car that could emulate various torque curves to suit the driver using they two e-motors working in tandem, so for example you could pretend you're in say a honda S2000 where you have to rev the plums off to get anywhere quick. So its still a 'drivers' car, even though its efficient. Also all the active aero on the car also 'helps fuel efficiency', not help the car go quick in the straights and sticky through the corners :D
