I have an 8350 aswell, and I was really bummed when the T75 was a bit laggy when I used it, but otherwise, it runs fine on the game

    my pc specs: AMD FX 8350 / EVGA GTX 770 / 8Gb RAM / Windows 8.1(don't know why) / PowerCase 600W.

I'm sorry to read that, I think you got an incorrect impression: we do not intentionally treat AMD cpus or AMD users bad, and we certainly do not hate them (...says yet another amd cpu owner :)

then why are you using only 4 out of the 8 cores available.

you were explained to many times why your cpu has trouble with beamng

not to mention that your comment asking about this in the dev blogs was replied to MANY MANY times

Because you have issues with self-delusion. And possibly reading comprehension and overall intelligence.
Seriously, if you can't understand this then there is nothing we can do to help. They can't fix it, we can't fix it, AMD can't retroactively fix it, coding can't fix it, you can't fix it. It is an innate problem with AMDs hardware.

Honestly I'm all for you getting banned if you can't accept this fact. We don't need someone who cannot accept their reality filling the forums with this crap. The problem is no longer in our hands. You either deal with it or go intel.

NO YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND!! it was bench marked by many different review sites that an intel i5 3570k has the same BM and Performance that an AMD 8350 has. (proof http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i5-3570K-vs-AMD-FX-8350) note that the only reason Intel is rated higher is because of it's single core performance, but note the benchmark performance (using all cores) is significantly higher than intels yet the intel still outperforms in this game. i personally think that this is a major case of beamng devs favoring intel over amd. this is bad for pc gaming and hell, bad for gaming in general. if the developers wan't to improve their game and sales, they need to give us some more amd cpu support, otherwise this will hit the ground harder than treyvon martin hitting the sidewalk.

No, you don't understand. Benchmarks mean next to nothing between such vastly different chipsets in real-world applications like this. There is no favoring going on. AMD simply does not perform well in the real world. The only one who needs to do some optimization is AMD themselves.

If someone does a benchmark on how fast you, and somebody else can run, it doesn't prove your jumping performance. Same concept with processor benchmarks.

:| Please just stop.. You don't know what you are talking about. In no way does BeamNG favor Intel or had any sort of selective optimizations for Intel.

It has 8 mediocre cores that share resources with each other. It needs 8 cores to get the same results as a superior Intel CPU for example.

Do you know how many cores BeamNG uses per vehicle?.. 1. In my case, it uses 1 of my very fast 4 cores, in your cause it uses 1 of your mediocre 8 or 6 cores.

so why not make it 2 out of the 8 amd "shitty" cores.

Sure, we'll tell it to use 2 instead.

(That's not really how it works)

*sigh* You don't get how this even works. You can't just tell it to use 2 cores. That's impossible without a ton of code that would sync between cores, etc.

Use a proper processor for the game ffs ...

and since the OS overrules anything like that in the end, it'd STILL end up out of sync eventually when your OS gives another program priority over beamng

You have no idea how any of this works do you?

Also I have no problem with my FX-8350 it runs all of the maps at 40fps+ for the main part and while the single core performance leaves a lot to be desired its definitely good enough for the game.

Are you sure you didn't put it in the motherboard upside down? Because your knowledge is lacking.

Yes, call a game developer who knows his way around windows, computer hardware, and advanced software a fucking idiot. I clearly do not know what I'm talking about. How about you go and work for BeamNG and code it yourself then? :)
