Update Speculation thread

I think its a solid tuesday.

 

i checked everything after v0.18, (i checked using steam news). They are all monday - Thursday

 

yeah most likely to have a buffer for next day hotfixes

 

My guess is that they planned on releasing on Thursday (hence the 10 second slow mode on Discord) but some last minute problem appeared they need to fix. By the way, the 10 sec slow mode is still in, so it might be happening today. Most updates release in about 30 minutes from now iirc

 

Honestly think next week though. Creator branch went live Tuesday right?

also dont forget that the vehicle elimination ends today

 

and why does that matter

 

Dev said most likely dropping after it ended

 

one of the dev said that the update will be relased if the veichle elimination ends in reddid

 

stenyak said that the update would most likely come after the end of elimination

 

Keyword is ‘after’ though for anyone who sees that as ‘when’. So it could be next month

Witch after waiting since DEC or since feb 28th since we saw the new 200BX

its not that long at all

 

I also like how the AI when chasing or fleeing does not slow down one bit before that huge drop by the hospital in WCUSA. It makes chases much more annoying.

 

could it drop on weekends or is that off limits

 

That's not going to happen i think.
I have my money on next week.

 

I'm guessing at least Wednesday if not Thursday next week.

 

I'm kinda getting mixed feelings. On the one side, there being no time for hotfixes on the weekend and on the other hand a lot of devs being online on Discord and also the slow mode still being active... I guess we'll have to see

 

what surprised me was that creator branch updated twice...

 

Also not certain about that personally. Maybe it was just a small aspect that was bugged which was fixed, hence the update. This could also just mean that creators only have to record this specific feature again and cut it together.
