Modified all of their names so people couldn’t easily screenshot and spread misinformation from a joke. So posts are easily disprovable
8yrs ago BeamNG.Dev "BeamNG does implement vibration feedback for XBox controllers. Specifically, we use the left and right (low and high freq.) motors, combined, to transmit the amount of force you would feel in a steering wheel. Note that it is just an initial implementation that doesn't work like most other games out there (where the motors are used to transmit chassis vibration, rather then steering wheel movement). To enable it, just plug your xbox-compatible controller in your computer, install any drivers if needed (same as with any other controller), go to beamng Controls > Force Feedback tab. Click the "steering" binding, enable the checkbox to Enable Force Feedback, and don't forget to click Apply after that. As for impulse triggers, we are unable to use those motors because they are only available (at the moment of this writing) in applications from Windows Platform / Windows 10 Store; and BeamNG still uses the XInput system (which works for any Windows version)." It works, but it doesn't add much, for me it just made my xbox controller shake whenever I turned the wheel. Also didn't give me any idea of my grip, so not very helpful. So here's hoping this update fixes game controller feedback/haptic/vibration.
Guys look, it’s The Final Countdown by Europe, released in their 1986 album, also named “The Final Countdown”!
