BeamNG with NFS features... MY DREAM IS BECOMING A REALITY!!! Now all we need camera-wise is this:https://www.beamng.com/resources/enhanced-chase-camera.29131/ but vanilla.
it's really cool. only complaint it ive sometimes had it come on for no reason when im driving along the road that goes up the side of wcusa (the one that goes past the career mode garage)
At the moment crash cam activates with just minor scrapes that don't even mess up steering. A bit annoying when driving close to walls. Seems like it mostly/only happens when I'm about to crash into a wall and then barely save myself and get away with a minor hit. So far it has only happened a few times. Can't say how frequently I'll actually encounter it.
This one is really easily reproducible: When you rewind your car's position during the crash cam it will do some funny stuff when it ends and you haven't stopped rewinding yet. When you hold rewind during the crash cam it'll rewind as normal. But after crash cam ends it will show fixed car at the location where you started and then instantly brings you to the rewind end position after you release the button.
that clip was recorded with no mods active aside from the ui. it wasnt in safe mode, i can try and replicate it in there later
Love the new cam, one thing I would love to see is the ability to change how long the cam follows the crash, default feels kinda short. Or is this an option I just missed?
Same, it does trigger seemingly at random sometimes, always at somewhat high speeds. I'm running no mods for now but I'm not in safe mode. There's two types of crash cam right? Sometimes it's going in Cinematic camera mode (slow mo + far away) while other times it's doing a 360 of my car while almost pausing the physics, is this intended?
Sometimes the crash camera doesn't enable, even at high speeds. I've had it enable during low speed collisions a few times as well. It's a fun feature though!
well, i will report here too haha. So, the cam rarelly trigger when i crash with traffic ai, like in gagare to garage missions
