I’m in a phase of wondering if I’ve been the one who’s “out of touch.” Or if I’m doomed to live a worse life than what I dreamed of back in school. Just think about it. You put all your might and power to pass the school, only to realize that it’s barely a 10th of what people expect of your demographic. And that all this applies to your social life and dating as well. You give it all you’ve got, yet you’re screwed even before you’ve started. Try again? Pfft, if I do that I’ll be in a strait jacket. Add individualism and the dreadful state of therapy services to the equation, and you’ll have a new doomer. And where’s the line between personal and society’s responsibility on this? You make it so that the individual has to risk a panic attack in order to chase what they want, yet it’s fine to let people turn for drugs in lack of alternatives and see how it turns out (spoiler alert: more tents and crime). I guess I could start a blog at this point. My (spoken) English sucks and my neighbors have an incredible talent to make stupid noise ONLY when I’m about to record. Or whenever I need to focus on my typing. But then I’d also have these hiatuses when entitled fans beg me to make more. You just can’t win.
