I was exaggerating a bit when I said square, but the point remains the same: we now have a physical model of the wheel closer to angular shapes than round.
yeah, would be nice to have a better tire model and be able to see the deformation. Also have better damage such as punctures slowly letting the air out (depending on size).
I know, I was just saying, it’s better to set the time for 18:15 than midnight if you want it to be “creepier” or whatever.
Hello update speculation thread, it's been a few months since I've even opened this thread mostly because the ratio of gibberish to actually good speculation was too high for my feeble little mind to handle. Anyways, I noticed something. In the steam store page for beam, they added a few pictures this update. One of which is this: https://cdn.cloudflare.steamstatic....b4e326849555a952a2.1920x1080.jpg?t=1709017559. Anyways, this is clearly a post-remaster BX, because it's a liftback. However, that spoiler. That's the lip spoiler. It was removed from the BX with the remaster. Which leads to my theory: the "they forgor :skull:' theory. It goes like this: the devs forgot to add things back to the BX after removing them from the OG 200bx. Other examples are the NFS PS livery, the old paint, and the bash bars. This tiny little spoiler probably wasn't so awfully made they had to remove it from the released version. I'm guessing the devs just forgot. Thanks for listening to my stupid little rant. Also, another pic in the steam page has a picco config that also isn't in the game. The same one is also in a loading screen.
I'm thinking they're going to re-add the removed content during the forthcoming hotfixes. It makes sense because we haven't gotten any after a week of the update being out.
They are in the game files, you can check yourself --- Post updated --- Also the T-series V8 will have an optional air-water intercooler for the turbo with the default being the air-air intercooler (I assume default because its cheaper probably). Also the position of the tag axle is before the rear suspension but close to the rear, so it wont be steerable but should be possible to have a rear tri axle setup with the first being liftable. Whoever is working on the engine might be german (I know, huge revelation their HQ is in germany) because they misspelt "cable "as "cabel".
The devs haven't just forgot, it's that they didn't have time to add them back before the update released. Also this piccolina is just the baja one painted black
for anyone wondering, this is what the Semi's V8 mesh looks like with its textures applied. it shares the same belasco_diesel material as the inline 6, so it will likely also be a belasco diesel branded engine.
Actually about the tag axle from looking at the model it appears to be a passive steering design. So it won't actively turn the truck but it will turn-in as to not fight you in corners.
it will be the v8 detroit diesel and found in older trucks the i6 will be found in the newer trucks since its based on the newer i6 detroit diesel a good place to find what the v8 will probably sound like is the toy hauler semi in the movie maximum overdrive
So the T-Series already has ridiculously in-depth customization, tons of intractability, hydraulics simulation, and tons of trailer attachments and upfits; and they're adding more? That is some insane stuff, these devs are so dedicated and it blows my mind.
Truer and more universal words were never said, my friend. To add, iirc there has been a Tarmac Rally Sunburst config on the loading screen for quite some time.
It's awesome! Makes sense that they can put so much content into a semi truck though, since IRL semis have so many use cases. They could milk probably 5 more updates out of the T series and still miss things.
