For anyone playing career mode and looking to buy the CrossSport for deliveries - don't do it right now. Due to 0.32 update, the cargo boxes suddenly went broken and whenever you put one on, the game doesn't registers them and thinks there's no cargo boxes even if you add or remove some. I'll quickly make a patch for this and i'll upload it on repo. For now, don't use it for deliveries.
I don't know if someone has talked about this but the turbo noise on the 2.5 specifically sounds kind of... odd. It's very whiney compared to the other engines and is similar to the the reverse whine on some vehicles. (Providing a video of it)

I'm not sure how much more content you're willing to add to this mod but I had the idea of making a slightly extended 7-seater version, something akin to the Nissan Qashqai+2 or the Renault Grand Scenic. I know the real-life CX7 wasn't ever offered with such a configuration but it'd be kinda nice to see the CrossSport stretched by a few inches behind the rear wheels and given slightly more practicality to give the Roamer and Lansdale some competition on the family car market And before anyone comes asking, I'd gladly do it myself if I had any modding/modeling knowledge lol
lmao maybe so i mean hey, all i'm doing is tossing out ideas here, you don't have to make or even seriously consider it
I have an idea: The North American model, besides North America, is also sold in Puerto Rico, Mexico, the Middle East, and some African countries. The European model, besides Europe, is also sold in Latin America, Brazil, the UK, Ireland, Russia, Ukraine, Africa, South Africa, South Korea, People's Republic of China, Republic of China, etc. The Japan model, besides Japan, is pretty much sold everywhere in Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.
it's not easy to make a CX-9, it already took enough of time for me to make this car too. kinda feels like an AI wrote this (no offense) Some countries you listed are countries that belong in those regions. (UK, Ireland, Russia, Ukraine are literally European countries) and some of them doesn't even need to be mentioned twice (China). Even though this is an idea, making this real will simply bloat the config list, and 50 is already enough for me. I don't want to turn this into an Autron (either CVP or Xenira (which isn't mine by the way)) which has a stupid amount of configs.
--- Post updated --- idk what happened with my reply before this one but anyways is it the modeling that takes a lot of time or making the actual mod or what ?
It’s every part of it, from modelling to jbeaming to texturing. It’s not a quick process as some people may think.
A lot takes time, it's not like in GTA / insert any racing game modding scene where all you need is some values and the model itself. BeamNG is way more complex than GTA / insert any racing game, so of course everything is going to take time. Dev quality mods take quite a lot of time to make them, Hirochi CCF's remaster for example took a whole year of 2023 just to make it. Hope this explains how difficult it is just to make a single car for BeamNG, let alone trying to make two even.
idk what happened with my reply before this one but anyways is it the modeling that tak oh that explains alot i thought that i can just model it and write some codes i have to learn then its done thanks for explaining it to me : )
