BeamNG Drive Explained - according to Kitteh

WHAT IF...

beamng is the name of the engine, but "Drive" is the name of the game??
Think about it...

 

I'd say BeamNG is the name of the company and also the name of the engine.
And yes, DRIVE is the name of the "game". I wouldn't say it's a game though. More likely a fun tech demo to demonstrate to 3rd parties for licensing deals.

 

What if drive is an acronym? Don't Race Inside Venomous Elevators?

 

So if this is correct.... we are %100 sure that the game is being released

 

DRIVE is a pretty good name but i personally think it should be "CRASH"

 

That makes no sense, beamng isn't all about crashing

 

I thought BeamNG meant BeamNodesGame...

It is to me thats the MAIN thing i want to do in this CRASH

 

i was thinking more "Beam Next G​eneration"

 

That's exactly what I thought. I kinda expected that that would be the name, but DRIVE sounds right to me too.

 

I certainly hope I'm right The tensions building up, as we go into the final 10 hour stretch between us and BeamNG (Or should i say, "Drive")

Yep. Just one more hour. I Can't Wait! I hope the full version (when it comes out) is free like rigs of rods. :/

 

They have already said that it won't be free. They originally planned on having some sort of minecraft style release. The game is cheapest in alpha, more expensive in beta, and full price for the full release.

 

I thought it was BeameNGine.
