It´s been a while since I´ve posted the last progress. I did some cleanup in the mod and bug fixing. I´ve also reworked the radiator and finally added an airbox.

The radiator rework is in the game


I’ve also finished the stock intake.


And I’ve started testing the car while drifting.
It drifts good (doesn’t even need the drift steering, sport steering works great).

The drift steering needs some work, it has great angle but the steering is way too fast.

 

That´s what I´ve worked on in the last 3 days.
I was inspired by the 200 bx remaster

This is looking really cool. Just curious, will this be compatible to work with other Covet mods?

 

if it´s for the engine or headlights, yes.
And interior things too.
But no bodykits.

 

Lettering is ready. The version in the screenshot is the Altair 2.5 Fultrac. It has a 2.5l i4 engine and 4wd.
Thanks to kueso for letting me use the Fultrac name.

I’ve added a twin turbocharger


Reworked the intakes
(Added a throttle body, a new airborne, new manifolds and piping)






That’s the race intake manifold


I’ve also done some work on the edge flow of the rear.


A sunroof is added too.



And idk if I’ve shown it before, but I’ve reworked the entire rear of the car.

Also adjusted the weight of the drivetrain, the Altair is over 100kg lighter now.

Just an FYI, Discord recently re-coded its image hosting to rotate image urls in order to prevent hot-linking like this, all the images break after a couple days. Been enjoying watching progress on Discord, excited to see the finished product once its ready to go.
