why is the last modified date of every file the same ?

the last modified date of every files in the folders inside the folder of levels and vehicles files all of them are set to 2013-07-03 at 12:00 am but why?

 

I think that date is when BeamNG released to the public or something like that

 

i just want to know why is it all the same for all maps and all cars

 

Probably some sort of default value for all of the files.

Probably also a placeholder since I don't see why the exact hour and minute of when the game released is necessary for files, or really anything. Although it is weird how even in later updates the new content is from 2013.

 

even the date on the folders isint correct lol garage v2 was added in the v0.25 update of june 15 2022 but the garage v2 preview image files details says it was taken in photophop in 2022-05-18 at 11:09am so the preview was added after the update

 

BeamNG zip files does not support date & time I think, that explains why it's the same date everywhere. And no the game wasn't released at 7/3/13, it was released first the 3th August 2013 for the tech demo and the next day for the full version.
