I hope 68-70 charger will get a old rundown skin at some point, like this: Also, will it be possible to have the headlights out without them being on?
I will see but probably not in the next update I made it on 70 grill atm. The problem is I didn't find how to commute light and manual opening, that mean headlight open with light on or open manually by presssing g key but not both at the same time. But it's really esay to switch mode by editing the input source in the .jbeam. Idk guy wich one choose, anyway I need it without base color and with an opacity map if its possible!

Because I can't! its out of my skill rn, I didn't find how to put 2 input source on the same hydro. I can still make a new slot with the choice of input but that would make the mod heavier than necessary. If someone have an other solution DM me.
Im finally back on the charger case since lately I have some stuff for school and fully working on an other project: My BMW E34 mod: Can you please sent me those file in .png format so I can cook opacity map? Also, I think I'm going to review my goals for the next update in order to release it quickly since people have been waiting for the update for a long time now. But I can confirm a beater skins and configs for the upcomming update.
It's great to see that this mod is still being worked on. One problem I have that prevents me from enjoying it currently is that the windshield texture is bugged, looking like semi-opaque frosted glass, even after clearing cache; do you have this same issue or might it be on my end? Also, what I would most like to see in this mod is the full range of factory engines and stock configs that you could buy new from dealers; at the moment there are only two stock engines and two factory configurations, both of them high end, with the rest being aftermarket modifications.
Weird bug you had. Since I change glass texture on the version I had you should not have this problem with the update. Like I said before the original 3d model is the Fast and Furious one so it's quite hard for me for turn it into stock variant. I haven't this problem with the 68-70 model. Currently there is 6 cylinder variant, 353 swap and 426 R/T For the next update I planned a mid-trim V8 and 440 R/T for each years. I think im gonna limit to that rn so people who wait for a long time the update can enjoy it soon. I also want to add more crysler B-body car such as coronet and roadrunner in the future
I don't know if you've already answered this, but why are you focusing on expanding the mod to the 68-70 Chargers, over remodelling the '66 to look like a factory-spec car, when there already is one (WIP Beta released - Dodge charger 68/69/ https://www.instagram.com/3d_work_games?igsh=Z3hzcHJkaHYzaDJh | BeamNG)?
I want my own 69 charger since is my favorite car ever. My goal is to do a better looking charger than this. I will probably not beat his destruction but I want a fun car to drive with an awesome look.
Gonna pretty goddamn hard to make a better one than his and a waste of time/effort. Might as well focus on finishing up the previous generation of the charger that hasn't been done by anyone else yet..
Everyday I realize, since the release of Beam NG and it's forums, as time goes on, the more toxic it gets... this guy will make an awesome looking 1st and 2nd gen charger (66-70) and he doesn't need your approval to do so. --- Post updated --- also, I just wanna say this, HIS (Cas's) is a dead mod and will more than likely soon be Broken, its already suffering a few issues, and it WILL need fixed after the next few updates, if not the NEXT update, and I am fully behind Matissator, and i cant wait to see his take on the Second Generation of Chargers, and the ability to have a decently detailed and working one compared to Cas's which is still using the old "Gavril Gladiator/Dodge Coronet" as a base, and that car is actually dead in the water as the creator if i recall has already said they will not be updating it. so next time, how about just be kind, and let people work on the things they love, is that to much to ask? especially for a game thats still being worked on, sooner or later Cas's Mod will be done then there will be NO second gen 68-70 chargers, so be greatful Matissator is even WANTING/Happy to work on this.
