On this topic.... Career mode has had me thinking more about the market variations of vehicles. Most but not all recent additions/remasters have market variations, and the gameplay team seems to be taking everything for career mode in a realistic direction so it's certainly something we may see incorporated in career mode. But that leaves the issue of market specific vehicles. It would be really great to see how career mode on Euro maps would play out compared to US maps since those market variations will change the meta as far as what cars you'll want and have available. For example, maybe a EUDM BX is a meta starter car on a Euro map but a USDM BX isn't on a US map, or a JDM only car is a good early game choice for a Japanese map but import fees make it a mid/late game only option for on a US map if it's even available at all. A vintage Autobello would be common and cheap on most Euro maps, but fairly rare on US maps. But that opens up issues like the semi trucks, where the vehicle department in some cases needs to make an entirely different platform to fill some niches. The semi truck niche would need to be filled by a unique vehicle, the Stambecco would be rare enough on USA maps that we should get a 2.5 ton truck to take its place on US maps, etc... Overall I think it would add a lot of value to career mode since it effectively means that you have to make significantly different choices depending on what map you're playing on. But it would also add a complications and require a lot of content that fills similar niches to existing content
That would be very far off in the future. They are not even done with 1 US map and it will probably be another couple of years before Career Mode gets another map.
They should also let you borrow screws from your second aunt (also Detroit map when, I need to recreate my hobby of stealing copper wire from the retirement home in beamng right now)
I really want an Australian map, to be specific a map based on the Glasshouse Mountains in Queensland.
