I haven't considered disc's as: 1. It doesn't fit the time period of a 70's Americans truck. Air powered disc's were developed in the mid 80's but only really saw wide adoption in North America well into the 2000's(Europe a bit sooner in the 90's). Even today most new trucks can be specced with drums and many are. 2. I don't have any personal experience or performance statistics to define the braking properties from.
Hey, great mod but for some reason whenever I bind the range and splitter, after tabbing to a new vehicle and back the keybinds keep unbinding. Have you heard of any issue like that before?
Hey, I got a quick idea: add an automatic gearbox named the EZ-Auto. It has 18 gears with the exact same ratios as the EZ-Range, but it's an automatic instead of a manual. (I know this probably makes little sense, but then again, this mod lets us build road trains with automatics, so yeah.)
The stock auto-gearbox logic already falls apart with 10 gears as the old Auto-Shift proved. 18 is even worse. If you want an 18-auto go ask DaddelZeit about adding it with his Automated Manual transmission mod.
Falls apart, you say? The 0.30 T-Series had its 10-speed automatic and 12-speed manual gearboxes using stock gearbox logic and both were totally fine. I once saw a mod with a 69-speed (nice) gearbox and even that was rather workable. I don't really see the problem here unless the gearbox damage mechanics broke something.
The stock logic doesn't know How to gear skip or manage crawler ratios well which means especially with an 18 speed it will gear hunt like crazy.
There's Realistic gearbox for that sort of situations. Besides, now we can't skip gears either without gear damage anyway :d
Shame that the logic is messing it up, is it possible to maybe do somekind of temporarily fix. Those updates are still some time away and I really enjoy the mod
Since you can now put a D-series steering wheel in the T-serea, would the wentward bus steering wheel in the T-series also be possible?
My lift axle system is already quite a janky mess so I don't really want to mess with it. Probably. I chose the D-series because of the brand and age similarlities but I could look into the Wentward wheel.
The facelift is from my mod, not this one ^^ https://www.beamng.com/threads/bellas-semi-add-on-bug-reports.99001/
thanks --- Post updated --- thanks --- Post updated --- umm i downloaded it and it still doesent work :/
Hey, I thought up something simple but interesting: See that 0.30 T-Series with the dryvan in the back? We need an option to put a tiny dryvan on the 0.31 T-Series, right where the fifth wheel would normally be. Do you agree with me?
Really? I didn't see anything close to what I showed in the Forums page of that mod. Besides, it probably won't come out until June 30. At best.
