Just found out about this, looks amazing so far, and I'm glad we're getting a lore friendly R32 soon A small suggestion is to add a MFD (Race Dash) and/or gauges into the interior where the radio would be / similar to the R34 interior. (I know how tough it can be to add these things since I've made a few mods for myself, but if you want to challenge yourself a bit more after everything's done )
That's what we're trying to find out --- Post updated --- All we're left with is a joke mod that goes really fast
a brief update, was planning to wait till it was more complete before posting but got a bit stuck, so I shall reveal now In addition to the high performance, AWD widebody Sunrise GS-R, other RWD models will feature a narrower 1695mm body, to comply with Japanese 5-number regulations of the time. (fun side note I was made aware recently, but up until 1989 in Japan having a 3 number plate due to exceeding width by 1700mm would basically mean the road tax was almost double that of a 5 number car, which is why almost all Japanese cars (sans for some bespoke luxury cars like the Century and President) were designed so that they could comply with 5 number size regulations, combined with a 2000cc engine option) RWD models will use different, narrower front and rear fenders, a mask style bonnet, separate sideskirt (or lack thereof) design (it is not compatible with GS-R) front bumpers will also be different (have yet to be designed/modeled), but you will also be able to custom fit a GS-R front bumper as seen above, it is a bit wider but can be easily bent to fit the narrower fenders the GS-R will also use bespoke, wider side indicators, to accomidate with the wider front fenders (similar t the skyline irl, they will not be compatible with each other) but yeah I am having a bit of trouble with getting the reflections how I want them on the rear quarters, so I took a bit of a break/worked on other stuffs and plan to come back with a fresh mind and remodel that section of the fender also started on the 4door, only the narrowbody for now but GS-R rear doors/denders will come soon, seeing as most of the modeling for the sedan is basically done now
Oh well modding of the Sunrise is ok and for publish as well so maybe someone can make an F&F variant
minor update (not really lol) i never did end up posting in this thread, some months ago i did a basic mock up jbeam for the purpose of testing suspension, mostly to test handling, as well as how remodeled meshes look ingame in recent months I have had issues with the model leading to a bit of artist block I figured this was a good time to instead start something i had been meaning to do, create a spreadsheet to document progress, in addition to helping me better set goals for this project, should serve as a more accurate way of monitoring progress for others I have edited the OP to include the link, but will add here as well N32 Sunrise Progress
It is a great idea to do the spreadsheet so you know what is done and what needs to tackle. I let you do your own progress at your own pace.
Not sure if it’s been discussed before, but does Nishino have a logo? Will it be similar to the Nissan logo or do you have other ideas?
bit of a late reply put probably not, mainly because there were no noteworthy R32s in the FnF series. only example I can think of is this one from the funeral scene got like maybe 3 seconds screen time? also just your typical street tune, so I think the generic config more than covers its purpose don't worry I will paint one of them black and do similar visual mods lol there are also other films where the R32 got more screen time
I know they both are R33s, but the r33 and r32 are very similar. And since this isn't a Nissan, but a Noshino, why not mix them up a little. (Just a suggestion, not demanding it by any means)
true, but R32 and R33 isn't the same also, if ever i somehow do an 180 and manage to be productive enough to make 1993-1998 Nishino Sunrise, maybe i will make those configs. this is not foreshadowing
Are you actually adding it to your mod!? I love that livery, i remade it myself on GT7 for my GT-R and having it in Beam would be fantastic!
