Just FYI my "modding ADHD" kicked in and i did a thing so Brute Gen 1 may see a slight delay while i go wild on the initial design of this. early mockup of parts in blender, most of it will change. hopefully i can satisfy my adhd soon and finish gen 1 before going too crazy on gen 2
don't let your ADHD get the better of you, i know what it feels like. just like you said i hope you can finish gen 1 before diving too much into gen 2
Probably gonna rename this thread instead of making a separate thread for the 1st and 2nd generations Finished design for the front end of Gen 2 2024 Ram 2500 Cab, slightly reworked hood to line up with the non-Ram parts 2017 F250 headlights, barely reworked 2015 Silverado 2500 bumper and heavily reworked grille Front fenders are 95% Ram, 5% Ford. Meshed from scratch to avoid any weird bodyline glitches
Its not too often you get to capture 3 generations getting along, but it appears at least for now, Grandpa B-Series, Uncle Brute, and Daddy Brute are respecting the power of the youngest generation and allowing him to tow everyone around. Lets just hope he doesnt let it get to his head or this cordial family reunion will become a living hell. --- Post updated --- Previously tried to get Gen1 on repo and was denied. So probably none of the Brute trucks are gonna be on repo, just a file download here
I'm sure the Gen1 wasn't approved because it was unfinished. If you finish it completely, it could be approved
negative, and to be honest i completely forgot there was a gavril b-series until you mentioned it. my thought process on that naming process was very simple: Old Brute=B-series
Headlights on Gen 1 are being redesigned. I'm sick and tired of people (not on here but on discord) saying i ripped it from FS22. The model came from Sketchfab, it was released on there before the TLX3500, enough said.(fun fact the TLX2022 is from a Unity asset on CGTrader, also released before the TLX variant) So im removing one detail that makes it look the same in the hopes that people will shut up about it(probably not but whatever). At this point the only details that are the same is the crew cab shell, the front half of the bed, and the factory hood. literally everything else has been pulled from another model or reworked by me. Push comes to shove ill just buy another 3rd gen model and genericify it myself. excuse me for trying to save some money by getting a free generic 3rd gen. --- Post updated --- just btw, based on the wording of the denial, im guessing the above criticism i got is also the reason for the denial.
Configs so far, Some are still WIP so these are subject to change as well as the addition of more configs (Danger Special is my personal config and will not be included in release) And for anyone wondering this is how you can determine Gen 1 from Gen 2 in the Vehicle Selector
I don't know if it's just me but I downloaded the mod and I only had 1 config. The interior camera wasn't in the front seat, and the cluster was a bit too wide. I know it's a work in progress but that's what I noticed. I don't know if there is an updated zip or what

Yeah the update probably broke the crap out of the already broken teaser release i did. its all fixed and the missing parts are added. im down to cleaning up the remaining D-series parts and adding configs before the update drops
