So was Half-Life, Portal, and BioShock! Anyway, the old NFS games from 1994-2007 were the golden era of the franchise, which is why I love them so much. However, Carbon is mediocre and Undercover is absolute rubbish, IMO. It recovered in World and Shift, though. Hot Pursuit 2010 stayed true to its name. Most Wanted 2012 should have been named something else as it has nothing to do with the 2005 original version except police chases and such. Rivals and the 2015 reboot had always online crap, which I hate with a passion. I've heard Payback is shit, though. Heat is good from what I can see. No comments regarding Unbound, though.

Good question. It became completely unplayable because it connected to the EA servers most of (if not all) the time.
