I just noticed that the police cars used in the police traffic spawn option are not simplified vehicles. Is it planned for them to get simplified variants too?

Don't want to bump the Hopper thread so here's good enough:

Hopper gauges have built in textures and lighting for odometer that causes glitch with the functional one.

Police Spotlights have an incorrect deformMaterial uv map when broken. Tried and tested in Safe Mode.

    why?
    its good enough, why complain?
i mean yes, there is more to do but look at the unremastered cars and compare it to a remastered car

I think it might need the word "is" after "this", but I also might be incorrect.

This is perfectly correct, I think. I have seen this form of sentence often before. It is more commonly used in colloquial language.

English isn't my native language, but i remember learning that "this" at the end of the sentence, like in this case, has the same function as a "this is" at the start of it

I was sorting vanilla Beam cars into USDM, EUDM and JDM groups when I noticed some cars had a few issues with lights.
    • ETK I-Series: Despite seeming USDM it has no front marker lights
    • Ibishu Pessima '88: Same as I-Series but probably needing a rear side marker aswell
    • Hirochi SBR4: Missing side markers(headlight maybe counts as a front side marker light?)
    • Wentward DT40L: Amber marker lights acting as turn signals?
Part 1/2 due to posting limits.
    --- Post updated ---
    Part 2/2
    • Hirochi Sunburst: Missing side marker lights
    • Soliad Lansdale Facelift: EU variant missing side turn signals
    • Soliad Lansdale Pre-Facelift: Same as Facelift, but also has front amber marker lights

I'm glad someone else has noticed this. Just a little more attention to detail is needed in the differences between lighting regulations.

    Sorting all vanilla cars into different domestic markets did provide some odd results;
    • USDM: 21-29
    • EUDM: 7-16
    • JDM: 5-7
Numbers vary due to different ways to count what is a separate vehicle. Are Cherrier Vivace and Tograc the same car? Or Ibishu BX and Diana, or COE vs CBE T-Series? Are Gavril D-Series and Roamer or Ibishu Pigeon and Wigeon the same?
Due to this I decided to strech the car list as far as I could, including counting the Covet MR Turbo separate from the normal Covet.

    Sorting results - USDM:
    • 22 vehicles available straight from vehicle selection that actually seem to comply with regulations
    • 1 vehicle can be made USDM with vanilla parts, but probably should'nt(MR Turbo)
    • Autobello Piccolina(only OG,not "A" or "B" models) appears to comply with USDM regulations apart from a MPH speedo. It might actually make sense to add USDM Piccolinas since it is kind of a VW Beetle of the Beam Universe?
    • Cherrier Vivace(non Arsenic) could be USDM if the front DRLs did'nt turn off when headlights are turned on. I personally don't think it should be made USDM compliant
    • Hirochi Sunburst seems to have non functioning rear marker lights and is missing front ones, otherwise it would fit USDM regulations
    • 3 vehicles have dysfunctional amber marker lights(ETK I-Series, Ibishu Pessima '88 and Wentward DT40L)
    Sorting Results - EUDM:
    • 8 vehicles available straight from vehicle selection that actually seem to comply with regulations
    • 2 vehicles can be made EUDM with vanilla parts(ETK I-Series and Hirochi eSBR)
    • 4 vehicles need a new rear bumper to be EUDM compliant(Ibishu BX/Ibishu Diana and Ibishu Covet/Covet MR Turbo)
    • 1 vehicle needs a km/h speedo(Ibishu Pessima '88)
    • 1 Vehicle needs side turn signals(Soliad Lansdale)
    Sorting Results - JDM:
    • 7 vehicles available straight from vehicle selection that actually seem to comply with regulations
    • 5 if you cont MR Turbo as a normal Covet and Ibishu Diana as a BX
    • 4 if you also count the Wigeon and the Pigeon the same
There were 4 vehicles that currently(Beam v. 0.32.5.0) do not fit any regulations: Hirochi SBR4, Hirochi Sunburst, Ibishu Pessima '88 and Wentward DT40L.
No cars have a functioning rear fog light, but that seems rather pointless to add as a vanilla feature. I would still like to see them modeled, but we don't have fuel doors, so ...

Generally the domestic market variants are getting better, but I still struggle to understand why for example the Ibishu BX got JDM variants instead of EUDM variants(since we have the Italy map?)? It does make me expect the next map to be a serious Japanese map at the scale of Italy and West Coast USA.

I am hopeful that we might get decent rain but proper fog I really don't think will happen.

Also I have never seen anyone use their rear foglight IRL despite living in EU and thus all cars have them here, so I personally would'nt bother adding them to the game. It is something modders could maybe do.

Well I'm Italian and I see people turn it on at the slightest hint of mist, then leave it on after it clears...
