Yeah boi!!! Tridem, quadridem or even pentadem (I butchered the terminology, I know)!!! --- Post updated --- Certainly!!
It almost looks to be a medium duty truck, considering how the cab looks slightly bigger and the frame being thicker than how the D-Series frame would normally be. In my personal opinion at least.
Perhaps this is what the developers were talking about, "Some people will find the 0.33 update to be the same or less than the previous ones". That's most likely all the content, but I'll be hoping for a big list of changes to not the most obvious but useful things for the game
That's definitely a fairly beefy truck in the back, some sort of D/T55. Certainly cool to see and something that's personally been high on my wishlist. That fills the huge gap between the D45 and T-Series, and gives us a less powerful fifth wheel hauler (and is going to be a very versatile platform for other options, including a bus). Overall this is a really exciting surprise. Hopefully we'll see a pre/post facelift, high deck version of existing engines, etc... And the tri-drive looks great too
That feeling when 2 years ago I was already doing missions driving a D-series with a tanker on the "CARP" server.
Of course, they post a teaser the day I go to Nashville. I literally got this email as I was leaving the Parthenon (oh yeah I’m in Nashville btw).
Honestly, I completely didn't expect the teaser to appear. I speculate, that, if the car in the background is the D-Series, it is going to get a light refresh to the lamps.
I'd love to see a D-Series on a T-Series frame, like that mod! There is the Ford F650 IRL, after all!
I love it! I'd like to see smth too n'on a possible I-series' remaster... Btw, I hope in smth good!!!
It's probably going to be a unique frame with the rest of the platform being a parts bin between the existing trucks, which the F-Series Medium Duty and Chevy Kodiak/GMC Topkick both were IRL. D-Series cab (standard, crew cab, and maybe a special hi-roof version) sitting high on a unique frame, a few hood options (at least a standard and aero hood, maybe short/long version of the standard hood), a mix of D-Series and T-Series engines (really hoping to see a tall deck big block that's unique to this truck), and a ton of frame lengths in single rear wheel and tandem axle versions. It's worth noting that a version of this platform could be used for a step van, bus, and motorcoach. All of which are highly requested vehicle types...
Is it just me or is BeamNG trying to be a bit like Rigs of Rods in the past year or so Like yeah, we got some refreshes for civilian cars, but I'm not surprised the updates are focused on utility vehicles
