Re: General discussion chat if you have an xbox one, and usually play beamng via keyboard & mouse STOP NAO, plug your xbone controller in via micro-usb (what most cell-phones and smartphones use these days) let windows install drivers, and then go open up beamng and play holy shit, it's SO MUCH EASIER TO DRIVE i can DRIFT the BOLIDE 390 GTR WITHOUT spinning out it's so much better holy freaking shit just pure amazingness i knew there was a difference, but not this much

State has rejected the papers twice now, and they got setd off for the third time 2 or 3 weeks ago. More waiting. and @ Cad about the governments: meh, for the most part I like them. I think they're some of the least irritating around.

Re: General discussion chat This macbook never runs the fan at any speeds worthwhile. Even when its plugged in. It just doesn't. Lets the laptop get way too hot. It was sitting in my bed open, and when I get back from Best Buy there was a cat sleeping on it. So it had a bed on one side and a cat on the other. Got the cat off and the thing's hot as hell. Fans ran at pretty high rpm for a minute maybe then they spun down to low speed. Can't even hear them yet the laptop has barely cooled down any. Still almost hot enough to burn bare skin. And I gotta instal .6 gigs of bullshit before I can play Far Cry 4 on Xbone. I wouldn't care much if it didn't download so FUCKING SLOW
Re: General discussion chat It's a school owned laptop. They issued one to everyone in the school. Kinda like a textbook. You guys can say all you want about apple, but they make some damn nice stuff. The build quality on this thing. It's one of the best built computers out there. The price shows it too.
Re: General discussion chat even while xbox live was down yesterday it still downloaded updates and all that for my games at around 1-2MB/s (including the AC games that came with the xbone, hopefully trying those out tonight, haven't gotten to because i can't just play with my siblings watching) (because wi-fi, and we'd need a ridiculously long ethernet cord to reach, so meh, if it really becomes a problem i'll get a wifi-extender or something)

Re: General discussion chat OS X is just another Linux distro. Are you saying Linux is inferior in functionality when compared to Windows? Apple puts together some damn fine laptops, and has one of the best customer service systems in the world. That just about justifies the four digit pricetag. But I still prefer Windows...

It has 2 physical cores, but it's used by all applications as a quad core processor, as each core has two threads it can use. - - - Updated - - - It's actually Unix, which is completely different all together. - - - Updated - - - ALSO I think I've decided on the i5 4690k. I don't think I really need the multi-threading in the 4790k. I've seen some i5's do some badass stuff. This means I can get another GPU too. It's been confirmed that I can crossfire my 7850 with an r9 270/270X.

Build quality is meh, if you drop the thing it'll be destroyed. - - - Updated - - - For gaming, a 4790K will only get you a 5% extra performance. Unless you do lots of 3d or video rendering, it's not worth the extra money.
