To be fair, I was heavily considering buying a steam deck and using it to play BeamNG, and there is a good chance that I would have played around with level editor on it.
Yeah its great for the value, mine was $700aud, but it won’t run ai traffic on big maps like west coast (irritatingly). I personally run on normal graphics, so it might be better on low, but it looks crap like that. --- Post updated --- Some more photos, I added a few streets where the town will be, some more tracks, and a few buildings
So guys, the map is still happening, I haven’t abandoned it for my Roamer ute chop, but it isn’t happening quickly. I have an 1-2 hours every weekday, and about 1hour on saturday, and another hour sunday to work on this along with my aussie 4x4 pack, for now it will be a private map until i can get it to a good level and try and release it without ruining the textures like i did with my old fraser map
I was wondering guys, I have started to run out of ideas for what to do on the map, and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or ideas? These are my current features: Highway similar to Steve Irwin Way (was going to be like the M1 but it needs proper slip roads and stuff which I can’t do) Small town with estate A few tracks behind the estate Some plantation tracks A powerlines track (need to actually add the powerlines which is quite hard) Hopefully a few creeks soon Might add a few tracks that run along the highway on the right (because most stuff is on the left of the highway Please, if you have any ideas tell me
My favourite 4WD Action DVD is in the Glasshouse Mountains, so I'd love to see some trails from that, however I'll have to see if that particular episode is on Youtube or DVD only
Should be this one. It has an awesome powerlines track at 30:32. There is also another one I like, but I couldn't find it online.

Got some new progress updates coming soon, this is what might happen: I import new ground materials and objects into the map so it is a bit more realistic, as well as going back through and fixing a lot of it up Or… I start a new map from scratch, without even a terrain, which I have started, but I need to find a program to create the terrain with as I don’t have L3DT on Linux Will post pictures soon
Yep mostly --- Post updated --- It will be most similar to Roys Rd near Beerwah bc that has the best forestry tracks really --- Post updated --- So guys… I messed up, accidentally upgraded something to PBR textures and now the grounds black . So I am restarting, but this time I will do it properly and at a good level of quality, unlike last time. So it will be longer until it will be released, but there is a higher chance of me releasing it and it is a lot better quality.
