I'm having a major issue with BNG-Drive. After reinstalling my system, I've lost all my mods, maps, and settings! I'm talking about 2000 mods, most of which were paid for, and they're all gone!

I've had the same Steam account the whole time, but it's like I'm starting from scratch. I've tried restoring my old files, but nothing's working.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? I'd really appreciate any help or advice on how to get my mods back. I've spent a lot of money on them, and it's frustrating to lose them all.

Edit: I've already checked them twice, but it's gone.

well you should have made a backup
the mods are saved in your userfolder, which isnt backed up anywhere. all your paid mods should be fine since you can still redownload them, everything else? search for them again

If you're lucky, there might be a "Winfows.old" folder on the root of your drive. But be quick, as it might delete itself after an update

This exact thing happened to me, only it seemed to extend beyond losing just BeamNG content. It sucked :'(

You should remember your Gumroad/Ko-Fi/Patreon password. If you don't remember it, that's your problem.

You can also use the software DMDE to recover deleted files. There's a free version that has limited features but it still lets you recover your files. Also you might want to download it onto an external drive or usb, because any data that you write to your computer now might permanently overwrite and erase the unrecovered data on the disk
