You need to stop asking the same damned questions over and over again. You've been answered many times.

Wait what? You were talking about an FX-6300 earlier :|

The FX-8320 does out perform the Intel but they're about the same price so its about $120 anyway...

Or maybe I just got tired of you just being so uncomprehensible towards others it drives me mental. It has nothing to do with CPUs at all. And we aren't here for PC help, OK?

Yeah, OK. But next time, please don't make like 5 threads and spam up this thread for a decision you should research and make by yourself.

SO BUY A DIFFERENT MOTHERBOARD THAT SUPPORTS THE CPU YOU WANT.

HOW FUCKING HARD IS IT TO USE YOUR BRAIN.

EDIT: Nice. You edited your post to something not 100% retarded.

My headphones are in town! Which... means they will be here tomorrow. That's what happens when you have a sorting facility in town. Yeah! Your headphones are two miles away! NO! YOU CAN'T HAVE THEM.

Again. Again! FUCKING AGAIN! Use your fucking brain. I think you have one in your hard-headed skull. Use it. THEY HAVE THE SAME EXACT CHIPSET AND EVERYTHING. IT'S JUST THE BRAND DIFFERENCE. READ. COMPREHEND.

Most motherboards only work with a specific brand/type of cpu Like my current motherboard(A MCP73VT-PM). It only works with 2 duo/Pentium D intel cpu's meaning i have to upgrade my motherboard to get a good cpu

I quit. They are the same exact motherboard really. If you did your research, you know that they can accept the same exact CPUs and GPUs.

You'll need to break them in. At least 2 hours of pink noise. simplynoise.com is good.

    Re: General discussion chat

Christ almighty, when you were hit with the seed of stupidity, were you crushed with the entire tree?

All CPUs have a socket type. It takes almost zero effort to find out the fx-8320 is an AM3+ socket processor so you need a motherboard with an AM3+ socket, hell I already told you before you needed to switch motherboard but due to a complete lack of reading comprehension you seem to have ignored that.

On both of those motherboards you have posted it quite clearly says they are AM3+ socket boards with the AMD 970 northbridge chipset and AMD SB950 southbridge chipset. You don't even have to know what on earth the northbridge and southbridges are to work out that they are the same on each board. The only difference is that 1 is made by GIGABYTE and the other ASUS, both solid brands.

Also. Battlefield is a game that hardly touches the CPU. Even your current CPU will likely cope with battlefield. The only thing to cause lag in battlefield is a GPU that isnt upto the task of rendering all the shiny shiny content, its just there is little calculation made on the CPU to support that shiny shiny. A good GPU is all you need for that game and most games. The CPU simply does not contribute to FPS or graphics settings possible to achieve in 99% of games.
BeamNG however is a game that absolutely hammers CPU usage. It still needs a decent GPU. Its here that the CPU can bottleneck.
