ORV or Off-road Vehicles, Is a small, WIP off road map. It includes a lot of fun hill climbs and crawling sections plus some fun technical spots. I essentially messed around with different rut making methods and ended up with this. I plan on updating the rest of the map and adding lots more trails and detail but for now I wanted to go ahead and release the beta to receive useful feedback.

    Features:
    Detailed rut and ground formation
    Challenging off camber slopes
    Hill climbs and rock gardens
Over 10 different houses for roll play
Light forest with no ground cover perfect for slow PCs:cool:

    V1.1:
    Much Larger trail system (Unfinished)
More homes and some Camping areas
    Expanded forest
    More rock features

    V1.5
    Way more trails
    Hill climbs
    Tighter off chutes
    Revised ruts
    More detail
    Completed forest
    Camping areas
    Posing rocks
    Mud!
    Rally truck

    Progress on v1.2:

Make sure the map is in: (User/Appdata/Local/BeamNG.Drive/0.32/Levels) Folder. If you continue to have issues please let me know so we can get this resolved.

I do not put any file in the official folders of the game. Your mod is supposed to be placed in the mods folder, that's what everyone does when they download a mod.
    --- Post updated ---
And this folder is used to store decals and meshes temporarily in order to load the map faster until you clear the cache, it is not where all the maps files are stored.

This looks amazing, definitely going to try this out. Is there any chance this is made off HiDefs template map?

Yea, I am making a map based off South East Queensland in Australia, which originally was based off his template, but I then ruined the textures, and I am now running off the vanilla Beamng template (just like HiDefs but you have to import textures and objects yourself)

Also, I really love the map, just a few recommendations, maybe use the really smooth tool at maybe 20 pressure, to go over the ruts and remove the jagged bits, I used to have the same problem but watching JustCallMeSurges streams helped me out. Also, maybe some more sandy tracks with low elevation, but inland with some creek crossings. Otherwise its amazing ;).

Thanks for the recommendations! I have updated the lower elevations to include swamps, some more hill climbs, rock features and even a rally track! I have a beammp server running the latest version here: 5.78.98.253:30823
As for the bumps caused by the ruts they are the closest thing to spin tires terrain I could achieve. I hope one day beam has terrain deformation.

yes terrain deformation would be insane, especially if it was saveable, you could go from a flat plain to a big bog
