Released Fictional Trucking & Service Skin Pack - Discussion Thread 4.7

These are NOT for the Gavril Scout. They're for the vanilla tanker trailers.

 

The Apex tankers and Scout skins have been fixed for the next update, which should be out within the next week if everything goes well.

I think that is due to the alternative skin being for the long tanker, vs short Tanker, although It shouldn't do no texture. I had the exact same problem

 

You've been doing great on getting this mod back to normal again after the update broke it. I'm excited for the next update.
I didn't see anything on this, but will this mod be compatible with the remastered MAN TGS/TGX mod (link below just in case)? This is not a suggestion, more of the fact the original MAN mod is included in this pack and the configurations are compatible, but not with the remastered. I know there is speculation that Beam.NG will release a semi_eu truck so the old one should be good enough, but of course that's speculation.
Some people had issues with the original like no engine sounds & etc., so just curious on your thoughts about that.
This mod is by far the best skin pack for the game, The MAN mod doesn't even need to be in the pack and it would still hold that title. You've done a great job of bringing it back to life. Looking forward to the next update!

Last time I checked my mod stash, my version of the MAN semi (the original one) worked completely fine. No erroneous textures or anything.

 

I can update the MAN skins, though they won't be done in this coming update

Now that this is pretty much finished, what now? Maybe remake the GTA 5 Skin Pack?

 

Yeah I'll work on my GTA skin pack first since it's smaller than the Real Life Trucking Skin Pack, but first I'm finishing up an update for my traffic skin pack in American Truck Simulator

 

True, it did work the last time I used it. Before that however, I've had no engine noises. Some others had had similar and worse issues. I believe it's been ironed out so there isn't really an issue now, but the updated version is just a lot more up to date. The old one is still good, but new animated interior, added features, and PBR is a nice upgrade, I think. That's why the old version still works for now.

 

The no config version has been updated

 

NoConfig? What's that? Sounds like an oxymoron to me.

 

It's a version of this mod that comes with none of the configs, which is helpful if you want to reduce clutter and/or filesize. It is available on the first post.

 

I just found out the Dollar Cheap skin for the T-Series doesn't work for the Cabover Sleeper, it just shows a messy NO TEXTURE. It may be problematic with other frames, though.

 

Forget what I first said: actually, the whole Dollar Cheap skin doesn't work with the T-Series AT ALL. Mind fixing that?
